- Additionally, the institution recognizes the importance of supporting students financially and offers various avenues for scholarships, financial assistance, and campus employment opportunities.
- Faculties are highly experienced with great knowledge and some of them have good teaching and mentorship style.
- The classes are also very nice, the library is beautiful, well organized and peaceful.
Dislikes
- We get information about scholarships, they are not interested in giving scholarships to poor students like us.
- I disliked the lack of facilities in college sports, or music room facilities gym and all and mess is also not good
- There is one almirah and one table and one bed provided in the hostel but the mess is really not good which was a problem in every college.

Remarks:
Some admistrative works take tedious time to complete. Our institute repetedly asks for same documents again and again. One positive thing is that this instituition shows your capabilities. It helps to keep the growth inside you. My college tagline is "You have to create your own opportunities, none is there to do for you".

The food is not so good But the environment is pretty good you have to adjust to the surroundings there will hospital in the campus which runs 24 hours and the ambulance facility is also good there are some shops avaliable within the campus

First we talk about positive Provides the quality education. Better infrastructure and better lab work. Faculty also very nice and good always try to help us in education and in also other aspects

Pros: College of National Importance, Decent placement, Good Hostels, Extracurricular Activities, Overall nice atmosphere.
Cons: The Academic curriculum should be better, there should be more practical classes than theoretical, The exam pattern.

No. I don't think there are any negative remarks apart from sports. The college is also improving sports facility. The other facilities offered by the college is good and as per the standards. The departments are also good.

The college have very rich in social life. The culture of many different states and nations cobine here. We learn from each corner of the world for the wide student base of the college. This leads to overall development of a person.

The college is great but could do better with proper budget management and a newer course curriculum, but it's nitpicking honestly because it regularly takes steps to stay relevant and give students a great experience.

There are so many positives and so many negatives in this college, overall it is well balanced college. Positives are like, in our college we live like a family where in other colleges they even didn't care for remaining. All regional festivals will be celebrated in hostels and we live happily over here. Where negatives are you know, above mentioned in other questions.

The multi lingual culture in the college helps students gain a great exposure and helps them understand the outside world. They also develop individuality. The food in the hostels should be customisable according to the multi cuisine.

Overall it is good. It is the place where you can enjoy your BTech life to a maximum extent. Environment of college is so good. There are bad things as well as good. What will you become, depends on what you choose either bad or good.

Here is a detailed review shared by my brother who completed his graduation from NIT Durgapur
- Infrastructure: Honestly, the infrastructure isn’t all that great but will provide all the basic amenities necessary for a good academic environment.
- Faculty: Most students have to resort to self-study because the professors are not very passionate about teaching. However, if you do good projects under a professor, you may be able to pursue a master's in a foreign university.
- Placements: NIT Durgapur has recorded excellent placements. This year the highest CTC offered was INR 70 LPA while the average salary offered was INR 13.64 LPA. The top recruiters included TCS Ninja, PwC, ICICI Bank, Microsoft, and many others. More than 100 recruiters participated in the placement drive and 633 students were placed.
- Opportunities: The NIT tag will open a number of opportunities for you and the alumni network is also quite extensive. You can also avail opportunities like workshops and clubs.
- Campus life: The campus life is very active with many fun-filled events like the freshers' farewell party and celebration of regional festivals. Additionally, a number of cultural and technical fests are also held.
- Administration : The administration is very slow and is not cooperative. You might face some issues.
- Location : NIT Durgapur faces no major connectivity issues. The railway station is 30 mins or 14 km away while the nearest airport is at Andal, which isn't well connected, so Kolkata Airport will be a better option. You can find the Auto rickshaw stand just at the main gate.
Overall, NIT Durgapur is a great place if you are unable to make it to IITs.
