- The faculty are genius . You can get a lot from them if you have the intention.
- Discipline is nice even being an MBA college.
- Campus life is awesome, you can do as many things as you want.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not as good being a government college.
- The administration is very strict and process are not streamlined.
- There are too many restrictions even in the campus.
Internships Opportunities:
A wide variety of roles are offered in finance, trade, marketing, sales and others. The project depends on company to company. The legacy recruiters are JP Morgan, Wipro, Deliotte, Goldman Sachs, TATA group, Olam and many others.

Internships Opportunities:
Summer Internship opportunities are provided for 2 months duration. These internships also provide opportunities for PPO. The roles are diverse like Finance, Marketing, Operations, Trade, etc. The stipends range at median of 2.0 to 2.5 lakhs for 2 months.

- The thing which I liked the most is the faculty. The faculty is very good with exceptional alma mater
- Campus life is also good. We have a nescafe which works till 4 am in the morning
- Facilites provided to us are awesome. We have loads of data and also bloomberg terminals
Dislikes
- The location of the college is not that great
- The campus is quite small as compared to other b schools
- There is certain internet issue due to location
Internships Opportunities:
The companies include - Bayer, HSBC, Gladerma, DCM sriram, medtronic, LT, Deliotte, SMBC, Transunion Cibil etc. The highest stipends stood at 4.5 lakhs for 2 months and median was 2.5 while the average stipend was 2.67 lakhs.

- The course structure and how the faculties are highly accomodating and interesting.
- The campus life, where you get time to pursue your skill-set apart from the academic hustle that goes behind.
Internships Opportunities:
The summer internship oppurtunities offered by IIFT, Kolkata is niether too good nor too bad. If you have the skillset the companies want, then you will be offered a 2.25 lakhs/month summer internship and if you do not have what they are looking for, you might end up with a 20-30k/month summers. And here I do not mean having a workex of multiple years as the desired skillset, FYI freshers from our batch have landed up in great companies paying great stipend.

- Faculty were very knowledgeable. They know what they are teaching and hence good in business.
- Students from top colleges pursue their post graduation in IIFT
- Placements are really good as many aspiring brands visit campus
Dislikes
- Choosing guest lecturers should have been more mindful
- Hostel bathrooms and toilets should have been renovated and repaired at least
- Campus was placed way outside the heart of the city, so accessibility was very poor

Placement Experience:
The placements are really good. One can easily get more than Rs. 15 lacs per annum. Median CTC is around 20 lacs per annum. So the return on investment a student makes is quite glamorous. Many top and aspiring brands like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, etc. visit the campus.

Consulting is 10 percentage,
Product Management is 8 percentage.
IT is 25 percentage,
Finance is 20 percentage,
Marketing 30 perc.
Trade 10 percentage
Overall pretty good coverage. For all good new trendy jobs as well.

Internships Opportunities:
Internships are not provided by the college itself students have to look for them on their own. Some students of my batch have interned with Niti Aayog IOCL and Nestlé. You can ask seniors for guidance or look for referrals on LinkedIn.

- IIFT Kolkata has great faculties (top tier)
- Great placements and great people
Dislikes
- You cannot flex the name IIFT among general crowd like you do of an IIM name. Other than that there's nothing to dislike about it.
Internships Opportunities:
Companies that come for internships placements are the same for Delhi and Kolkata campuses because both campus students sit together, no biases form the company's side.
You can see the name of companies from the summer placement report.
only 7-8 companies out of 100+ companies don't allow Kolkata students.
The internship stats are the same for both campuses.
Again to give you a number, IIFT Kolkata's numbers are better than IIM Shillong's.

- Placements are strong with 100% placement record for decades.
- Vibrant social life with multiple opportunities for moulding one's personality.
Dislikes
- There is a lack of a playground due to some reasons which is a bit inconvenient.
- The college is a bit far off from the main city.
- Weather is another issue with Kolkata weather being very unpredictable.
Internships Opportunities:
There are internship opportunities under multiple domains with sufficient opportunities for all the candidates to grab a good offer.
The average stipend is to the north of 200,000 for two months following which we submit a comprehensive report documenting our learnings which is a compulsory course.
