Placement Experience:

Our college placements are wonderful. The company that visits campus are JP morgan, goldman sachs, HSBC, godrej etc, There are around 120 recruiters that visits the campus. The placements are pooled with Delhi campus. The median is 25 lakhs per annum and the average stood at 27.3 lakh per annum. The highest domestic package stood at 75.6 lakhs while highest international stood at 85.4 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

One is eligible to sit for the summer placements right after the college starts, however the final placements take place somewhere in the fifth trisem. I am currently in the first year of the MBA course so I dont have much insights on the final placement cycle however the average CTC goes till 21LPA. Coming to the companies that come for recruitement, we have all the top companies from all domains visiting our campus be it Dabur, BMW, Godrej, JPMC, to name a few.

Here are a few factors that differentiate IIFT Delhi and IIFT Kolkata campuses.

Location is certainly a differentiating factor between the Delhi campus and the Kolkata campus. Students of Delhi campus get more exposure due to the proximity to the mainstem industry and to Gurgaon’s Cybercity. But the student body of IIFT Kolkata goes the extra mile to make sure this is changing.
Although the faculty of the Delhi campus is more diverse, the environment on Kolkata campus is more conducive for research.
The Delhi campus has the WTO center, while there is a Center for North Eastern Studies (CeNEST) on the Kolkata campus.

No. Minimal difference exists when it comes to placements, but nothing changes when the quality of education is talked about.IIFT Delhi and Kolkata are sister campuses and not separate branches like IIMs are. You will be taught by common professors, get the same degree upon graduating. Both campuses go through the same academic rigor, led by the common administration. Even the competitions open for IIFT Delhi are inherently open for the Kolkata campus as well.

Placements are common, the administration is common, Kolkata has a better infrastructure, they have the same academic rigor in both the campuses, the competitions open for IIFT Delhi is automatically open for Kolkata as well, even if it is written IIFT Delhi in the eligibility criteria of the Corporate competitions.

Yes, there is a 100% placement for all the candidates. IIFT Kolkata Placements 2023 has been concluded. IIFT Kolkata's highest package stood at INR 85.40 LPA whereas IIFT Kolkata average package stood at INR 29.1 LPA.
