IIFT Kolkata Cut Off is announced in two levels: IIFT Sectional cut-off and Category-wise Cut Off. Candidates must qualify both the cut-offs to be eligible for admission. The cut-off list for all three IIFT campuses will be different. The cut-off marks for the 2024 is as follows:

IIFT Kolkata CAT Cut Off 2023
Candidates are shortlisted for admission to IIFT Kolkata on the basis of their scores in the entrance exam conducted by NTA. Candidates must meet the minimum cut-off marks to qualify for appearing in the personal interview round and extempore. IIFT cut-offs are different every year based on the category of the students.

- The faculty are genius . You can get a lot from them if you have the intention.
- Discipline is nice even being an MBA college.

Admission:
The candidate needs to have a minimum or equivalent graduation degree from a recognized university and he or she should have at least scored more than 50 percent in his graduation. IIFT has started accepting CAT scores starting from 2024 and the application form is available on the website iift.nta.nic.in. The fee amount is 2500 for general candidates.
The CAT exam is held once in a year in the last week of November every year. The exam is moderate to difficult. Generally, one section in each slot is easy, another is moderate and one would be very tough.

Admission:
IIFT admission consist of Aptitude test. After clearing the aptitude test, GD/PI shortlist is released for all the eligible candidates. The cut-off varies every year depending on composite score calculation that is based on previous scores of class 10th, 12th, and aptitide exam. Different weightages are assigned for this initial shortlisiting. After GD/PI rounds, final shortlist for admission into the programme is released by the institute with waitlist for Delhi & Kolkata campuses.IIFT earlier had its own aptitude exam until 2022. Recently, from 2023, IIFT has decided to take scores of CAT exam into consideration. The CAT exam is held once a year during last sunday of November. Eligibility for course is a student needs to be in his/her last year of 3 or 3+ years of full-time graduation in any field or completed. Application forms for applying to IIFT can be found on its website. The application fees range from 1000 to 2000 based on category. Application dates vary every year.

- The thing which I liked the most is the faculty. The faculty is very good with exceptional alma mater
- Campus life is also good. We have a nescafe which works till 4 am in the morning
- Facilites provided to us are awesome. We have loads of data and also bloomberg terminals

Admission:
The admission process of IIFT was quite smooth. Yes, to get admission to IIFT we need to write an aptitude exam. The exam consists of 4 sections which are - Reading comprehension and verbal ability, general awareness, logical reasoning and Quantative aptitude. One need to clear the individual sectional cutoffs as well the complete cutoff to be considered for the first Shortlist. This year IIFT 2022 for the first shortlists the cutoffs are given below:
GEN - 40( sectional percentile)
GEN EWS / OBC NCL- 35 ( sectional percentile)
SC/ST/pwd/Kashmiri/migrants and non migrants-30(sectional percentile)

The reservation people SC/ST wil get 50% tution fee waiver. The process was smooth however they need to expedite the process

Admission:
The admission process here at IIFT, Kolkata was pretty smooth. Your eligibility in this college was determined through the IIFT exam which was taking place till last year, but from this year onwards it is solely dependent on the CAT score. After clearly the cutoff score, I received a call within 15-20 days of result declaration and from that point on it was a slow but continuous process. However, it took them 5 months to wrap the whole process of GD-PI and our batch started officially on 10th of July, which is pretty late for Bschools, apart from that everything else was pretty much a cakewalk.

- Choosing guest lecturers should have been more mindful
- Hostel bathrooms and toilets should have been renovated and repaired at least
- Campus was placed way outside the heart of the city, so accessibility was very poor

IIFT Kolkata is a dream place to study MBA. Especially, the specialization in International Business is a unique selling point. The admission process is very competitive and exhaustive. One can avail of reservation benefits if he/she falls under any of the categories stipulated by the Government of India. NTA currently conducts the entrance examination. Hopefully, they will be changed and TCS conducts the examination just like they conduct for CAT and other competitive exams.

Application is available at IIFT website and the same must be submitted before the due date website. The application process for the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) entrance exam is quite strict, with a minimum eligibility requirement of 90%. So IIFT is a good college for International Trade. International Trade has grown exponentially in the last two decades, and IIFT is uniquely positioned to provide students with the education and training required to take full advantage of this growth. With Good growth prospects and International prospective students can gain a lot of knowledge and develop new skills with the help of the courses provided by IIFT.
It is one of the best colleges for international trade, offering comprehensive coursework and immersive educational experiences that prepare students to succeed in the global economy.

Admission:
The eligibility to apply for MA Economics In IIFT Delhi is to have Bachelor's degree in any field with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate. After filling out the application form which is available on their website iift.ac.in and it costs rupees 1600 you need to sit for an AI Proctored Entrance Exam which is approximately 1 hour. I think the admission process is quite seamless but I faced a lot of problems while filling out the application form since no proper instructions were provided regarding that other than that the entrance test was very well organized.

- You cannot flex the name IIFT among general crowd like you do of an IIM name. Other than that there's nothing to dislike about it.
Admission:
IIFT takes its own exam which is called the IIFT entrance test.
The eligibility criteria for the exam are the same as the CAT.
The application form is 2500/- and the exam usually happens after a week of CAT
You will get your result in the month of Feb and interview shortlist in the same month.
The interview happens after a month gap from the shortlist.
Before the interview, they send you some questions (HR Questions) which you have to submit 15 days before the interview, and the interview is based on that.
Try to form your answers on that. And deliver it, the interviews are easy.
Usually they say the cutoff is 96-99ile but this is for GEM, but remember that you are not a GEM (if you are nothing can be done about it), so the shortlist would come for people with even 85+ile so, be prepared and people convert at this percentile.

The admission process was fair and transparent with ample opportunities to establish my candidature.
Application forms can be availed through the official website which is smooth to navigate. There is a separate entrance test called the IIFT entrance exam followed by an extempore and personal interview.

Selection through the IIFT exam cut-off usually goes to the 97 percentile but there are students here with 95 percentile with diverse backgrounds.
The application can be found on NTA Website and the form fee was Rs 2500 in my time

IIFT Kolkata MBA admissions are based on the CAT exam, followed by a Group discussion and a Personal interview. IIFT Kolkata used to conduct its own exam for shortlisting candidates but from the academic year 2024, the institute will be considering CAT scores and the cutoff has been released after the CAT results declaration. Candidates who clear the CAT cutoff will be eligible to appear for the personal interview and extempore for IIFT Kolkata admissions. IIFT Kolkata MBA fees are INR 20.97 Lakhs, whereas the average package stood at INR 29.1 LPA.
Both exams are equally challenging when it comes to difficulty. However, due to the added General Knowledge component, some candidates find IIFT more difficult than CAT. But looking into other parameters such as exam pattern, marks, and time allotted per question the complexity makes the CAT a bit tougher than IIFT. The reading section which is more fact-based and focuses more on a candidate’s vocabulary for the IIFT exam making it slightly more difficult than that of CAT in this section, and the logical reasoning and data interpretation section of IIFT focuses more on calculation as opposed to CAT where this particular section is lengthy rather than being calculation intensive.
