Galgotias University Greater Noida Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Galgotias University from where I am doing MBA is a private university which is a member of AIU and is approved by UGC. Further, the placement record from MBA department is 90% and overall 100% placement rate has been witnessed. Also, the fee structure for MBA program 3.2 lakhs for 2 year and that is quite low as compared to other college's management fee So, basically for all these reasons, I decided to opt for MBA program from this University.Further, when I saw the placement rate, its ranking I waited for the release of application form and lastly, in the month of June and paid 1100 as application fee. Moreover, while filling the form, I provided my marks obtained in 10th, 12th and undergraduate and since, the admission for MBA is done on the basis of CAT, MAT, CMAT, and other exams, I provided my score of CAT exam. Then, based on my score in CAT exam, I got admission into this college.

From last year Galgotias achieved more than 85 percentage placement. Companies like Accenture, TCs, Infosys, global markets , RTDS visits the campus and the highest package of Galgotias in my course from last year is 11 lakh and the average is 7 to 8 lakhs

The placement of this college is good. After 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Some well reputed companies like HCL, TCS, Amazon, Wipro, Axix Bank, Kotak Bank, Mahindra, etc visit our university every year for campus placements. Highest package offered to a students was 30lakhs PA and average package was about 3lakhs PA. Every year 80% students get placed in a well reputed company with good package. Teachers helps students a lot in their placements. My plans after getting the degree is to become Financial Analyst in a well reputed company.

Students can apply for internships in any semester but for jobs, they are eligible by their end year only. Companies like Wipro, Paytm, Byjus, HSBC bank, Amazon visits the campus in the management department and almost 65 percent of the students get internship easily based on their skills. And for jobs, the highest package in management was 12 lakhs per annum and the average is 4 to 5 lakhs per annum.

After 2nd semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Many well reputed companies and MNC like Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Mahindra visit our campus every year for campus placements. 10Lakhs PA is the highest package offered to a student and the average package was about 3Lakhs PA. 90% students get placed every year in a well reputed company. If you study well whole year, then you can easily get placed in some good company with some handsome package. My plans after getting the degree is to become Financial Analyst in a good company.

Food and Admin staff is not as per the words. Food quality is not that much good and admin staff is also not so supportive.

Good remarks for students is that phones are allowed, no particular uniforms you can wear whatever you want and only attend classes for 5 days a week. Internal assesment is of 30 marks 10 for quiz that everybody cheats and teachers too know it very well, and 20 for class assesment for mid terms and all and for class behaviour and the rest 70 is based on your exams

College management is very good and always transparent with the students.

Faculties are good and well qualified. placements are good. They should increase more extracurricular activities and try to bring better companies for placements along with some international exposure which I feel is very necessary these days.
