Hostel Fees 1st semester stood: INR 2666 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th semester: INR 1290 (regular fee and hostel fee both) 3rd, 5th, and 7th: INR 3190 (regular fee and hostel fee) Mess Charges: INR 40 for a simple diet INR 60 for special INR 80 for chicken Usually, there are 2 diets a day and on Sundays, there is only one diet. But the Sunday meal is special so it is counted as a double diet. So the approximate price stands at INR 80-100 per day. If you skip the meal or go home then you can tell Mess Maharaj and you won’t be charged.

Placements are mediocre here. Only non core sectors like coding and analytics get placement opportunities. The salaries offered are also very low. Labs are not equipped with modern tools. The students get no practical exposure. The conclusion from her experience was that the professors in Mechanical Engineering at Varanasi IIT are bringing down the results of students terribly.

I availed scholarship of my tution fee which is 1 lakh. For students whose family annual income is less than 1 lac, they don't have to pay tuition fee. And students whose family annual income is between 1-5 lacs have to pay only 1/3 tution fee.

Best college for IIT

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The fee structure was around 40000 per semester (including hostel accommodation). It is quite expensive if we consider it with other government funded colleges in India. But the good news is that education loans are easily available. There are also plethora of scholarship opportunities for deserving cadidates, mostly on the basis of their economic status and academic performance.

IIT BHU provide merit-cum-means scholarship also IIT BHU alumni network also provide scholarships as this college is government funded so there is special scholarships for ST/SC candidates. Bank loans can be easily taken with 1% interest less than actual rate because you are in IIT.

BHU is yet to release the admission notice for the Ph.D in Commerce program. The admission process generally begins in the months of April and May every year. The admission notification as well as the application portal will be released on the university’s website.

To get admission in the B.Pharma course you must have passed Class XII examination from a recognized board with at least 50% marks taking English and PCB subjects. Admission is granted now based on CUET UG.

Banaras Hindu University does not offer BA Honors in Sociology. Instead of this course, the university offers BA Honors in Social Sciences. Admission to the course is done on the basis of the CUET UG examination.
