Our faculty members are very professional and good teaching and presentation slides are very nice.
The scholarship opportunities are not great but for financially backward students help is provided to support them.
Yes, the overall experience is good and the college campus is also good and well maintained.

Dislikes

They are quite approachable, yet they restrict a bit in teaching as they see others as competition.
There are no projectors inside the classroom for educational purposes.
Less than 25% of the students know english. rest all you have to deal with is incorrect grammar and wrong spellings.

I was influenced to choose this course was the scope in future this course has and to help the needy people who is not able to afford the expensive side. It helps me gain confidence and communication skills. But the course needs to provide vast more information. The books suggested are not useful. And the given books by college are not sufficient for learning the course.

The course is very interesting as it helps me understand patients problems and helps me improve my communication with others. We have seminars which helps me overcome my stage fear. I get a clear view of every topic. Thers should be a little improvement in teaching by providing proper notes to the students.

Tagore Medical College from my POV

Likes

The college has a very dedicated set of faculties who are very supportive. The faculties are easy to approach and very friendly. Every faculty is well experienced in their subject.
The college not only focuses on our academic development but extracurricular activities. There is a huge cricket ground in campus where we can play sports. There is also a college band.
The library is open till 8 pm. The library has prep ladder tablets which students could make use of.

Dislikes

The infrastructure could be a little more developed

Our curriculum is CBME based curriculum. It is more clinically oriented. We get to answer questions only after diagnosing the clinical case based questions. It focuses more on practical knowledge rather than just focusing on the theory part. It makes us ready to handle patients.

First I could like the teaching methods of this university
And also the University infrastructure and placement

Medical college and its bio

Likes

Admission fee was affordable and didnt cost much
College gives a wide exposure to lot of patients with various conditions
The coaching given for the first year is good as it stresses on the subjects that forms the basic

Dislikes

Very small campus with not good infrastructure
Very stressful environment with lots of works and exams every week
Very less extracurriculars and very strict especially for girls

I would give a good rating to the course and its curriculum as it focuses on giving importance to the clinical and applied aspects which helps people to easily correlate and diagonise disease when we are going for postings from the 2nd year

They always ask us understand the concept not just read the books and write in exams
They allow us for other clg events they want us involve in the events

A look into Tagore medical College

The infrastructure of the college is good
The teaching staff are very cooperative and available all the time to resolve our queries
The medical equipments are quite well advanced according to the generation. The patient outflow is quite good with gives the students a good exposure

Dislikes

The maintenance of the building could have been much improved
More clinical studies should be focussed as it will help to gain experience

Madras Medical College - Review

Many extracurricular clubs are there like Im in the fashion parade one.
Air conditioning facilities is avalaible jn almost all lecture halls
College is near to the metro and electric train stations making it easy for travels

Dislikes

Continous tests makes us uninterested in the subject.
Monotonous way of talking inevitably leading to us sleeping in class
Boys and girls cum activities are less leading to less interactions

Course Curriculum Overview:

For my medical field i feel some subjects are unnecessary in my view point like the community medicines. I feel anatomy weightage should be more compared to buochemistrand physiology. I would like them to improve the chapters and remove chalters that are unnecessary so that we medical students can concentrate on whats inportant rather than studying everything and stuffing our brain.

Admission to MBA course is done based on entrance exam and the candidate nees to have any medical UG course to be eligible.
