Course Curriculum Overview

This course avails a job opportunity of minimum salary of 50000 per month. Course is very easy when you regularly study and attend the class regularly. Exams and assessment done to improve skills and knowledge. Question paper level is moderate to tough in every assessment

Campus Life

For every our there will be a culturals and sports day. Then there will be freshers day , onam celebration, Diwali celebration, Pongal celebration etc. Library has most of the books. Regular practice is given for students willing in cricket

Hostel Facilities

Each room in hostel accommodates 2 persons with regular cleaning faculties by cleaning workers with attached bathrooms. Menu is good , food quality is sometimes good , some times bad overall average food. Hostel fees - 250000 ( non AC)

Admission

I applied only this college and got admission here. I choose this college because it is a new college and no ragging by seniors as we are the 1st batch. Eligibility is pass marks in meet. Admission process is normal procedures for applying counselling.

Faculty

Faculties are always available to clear our doubts. There are about 5 to 10 facilities present per department. For each academic year 3 Internal assessment will be held for each subject and each month Formative assessment will be held for each subject

Night Life

Well built gym is present with most of the equipments. Doctors canteen and Patients canteen present with good quality food. Seperate hostel for boys and girls. Outing permission will be given by Dean .

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Life in CMC

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.
