TNAU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Actually, I don't know about the placement yet as I'm in 1st year but they r giving us training for how to face the interview there is a placement cell in our college and they are separate faculties to give you training so don't worry about placements.

For many reasons I have choosen Tamilnadu agricultural University,Coimbatore. First reason I am very interested in agriculture. And coimbatore is my favourite place. And I am from agriculture family. These are the factors for choosen this college.

Food Technology being a unique course and IIFPT being one the two colleges under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries is one of the main reasons to opt this college. The valuable infrastructure and the paperworks done in this Institute also makes it a better option to choose for any research study. The city where the college is located, Thanjavur is one of the tourist destinations of our country also adds up to opting out this Institute as a student who stays away from home.

My thing is more scope in Food Technology then I choose me. Many people health related diet so create new product and quality also given food technology. Food Industry major increase the GDP value of government.

Great location and pleasant College atmosphere, government institution, trained faculty, exposure visits, easy transportation, favourite course, internships, rawe, all india tour are part of the curriculum

The ambience and teachers made me chose this university. I have always felt that this university will fulfil my dreams of becoming an good aspirant of civil services. And adding that the agriculture field was new to ve explored for me.

Our college provides many courses such as B.sc Agri, B.sc horticulture, B.tech food technology, B.tech energy and environmental engineering, B.tech biotechnology, B.S Abm, B.tech agricultural engineering etc. Basically, the syllabus gets updated once in two years but for the last three years, the syllabus has been updated regularly for each year. The industrial exposure is really good and they take nearly two to three industries in a semester and also there is an all India tour in the final year in which we can visit the industry all over India. Since I am a technology student I don’t know about the agriculture faculties but according to me all faculties are completely good and there are advanced lab facilities in all faculties. Biochemistry faculty is really an admiring one in our college
