But, an annual festival is held and there is a celebration on festival days as well.
Stipend awards are provided for the students who come forward n are keen to engage themselves to learn, work and earn
I say with faculty is friendly and strict in education and personally help with carruier

I disliked my college is short library because of low books and short place
The only disadvantage is we need to walk so much. because of the distance between buildings
The most of the issues in thi university.. i think university principle sheet problem. and they take secret money from stutent

Our college environment will be good and feels good and there it feels us to like a good environment
In our college we have lots of department and many courses where all course will be available there
We have many shops and canteens inside the college and many tab tea available there

Dislikes

I feel difficult to roam in the college because it takes long time to go for place to place and
In our college we don't have any campus interview and no other works
I don't like the college timing because it looks like an full day college

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my studies I learn more about the biology because my major course is microbiology and it is very usefull to me and also it is helpfull to me ...sure it will help me to go for a good jop in the future and it helps me in the real world also .

Here there is available all the modern facilities.
In madurai kamaraj university are well maintained infrastructure.
Career opportunities- graduate often find excellent job prospects.

Dislikes

Stress and work load for especially those not well prepare for the mathematical intensity.
Due to the rigorous nature of of the course work.
Here in this university there is a some language barrier for north indians.

Bad decision of my life

Likes

First is that the lab equipment are very good
The environtment is very freshly and its very calm
The faculty's are very knowledgeable and intelligent

Dislikes

Lab equipments are there but most them does not work
The campus is very old and its difficult to come at night as no light post work and its mostly surrounded by forest
Faculty's dose not teach us properly and they don' t take classes

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are no particular curriculum that made me take this course I just took this to learn new ways of Microbiology and its technology I have no further interest in pursuing this course.But it do helped me in learning many things.

The course is well taught here with experienced professors of this field

Dislikes

The climate is unbearable in summers, and food is somewhat bad and the living conditions are fine outside hostels

The course is pretty modern and advanced along with the faculty teaching them.The course is relevant in real world as they conduct seminars, conferences, internships around the state.The difficulty level of the exams depends on your preparation totally because the level is quite medium to hard .

The campus life is pretty much good. Also the friend circle is created so easily.
Staffs and their qualifications is also well and their teaching style is very relevant to us.
Classroom sceneries are always engaging and intresting.

Dislikes

Syllabus effectiveness and the lack of knowledge in the overall outcomes of the students.
Location of the college is not good, very rural.
Canteen is not sufficient for the all students came together.

The course curriculum is fairly comprehensive and relevant and offering a good mix of thearitical and industry aspect with the specifications with the project oppurtunities influenced my decision through the course dynamics.

Madurai kamaraj university, A place where flowers blooms.

Likes

Tan tea offers refreshments for the students at a affordable money
Public library is open till 8pm daily ,very useful
Lots of stone benches across the university.

Dislikes

Climate is often unbearable. Madurai often have dry cllimate
Canteen food is not everyone’s cup of tea
The water too have more salt content making it unpleasant to use

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is one of the rare course one can choose after completing geography, the curriculum prepares us well providing lot of technical knowledge involving GIS softwares like arcmap, qgis etc.4 sem exam within 2 years , they are easy to pass and score good marks.

Likes

The college have good greenary atmosphere and good road and good proper canteen and class rooms
The college has a good well maintained library and wifi facilities.They have good offices
The college canteen is vegetarian but they provide good food

Dislikes

The class rooms are bit old fashioned and bit gloomy
The college have no fest or arts day or programmes or festival DJ
The college has no good secondary gates and anyone can enter inside

My Course Earth remote sensing and Geo information Technology have 4 semesters and the syllabus is somewhat updated with their respective related to AI and Machine Learning however they are not providing in hand training on GPS

Likes

Classroom, Professors and Classmates are very interactive and productive.
Faculties are well experienced and best for research guidance.
Classroom infrastructure is good, having RUSA sponsored smart boards and other items.

Dislikes

Sometimes, it revolves around monolingual; Tamil.
Surrounding is little messy and bushy too.

The courses and varied subject aspects are useful for different careers. It's a great opportunity ranging from history related career and even journalists, etc. The curriculum so far added even offers to choose another department not related with history in 2 semesters as elective subjects which gives the opportunity to learn and widen our scopes. Exam frequentcy is regular, mostly after completion of each unit which helps to go smoothly the taught and learned syllabus in a row.

LIFE IN MKU (Madurai Kamaraj University)

Likes

Green campus ,with lots of trees and plants makes it pleasant
Good library which is actually public library opens till 8.00pm
Good canten, mostly vegetarian food but eggs available

Dislikes

Hostel is actually poorly maintained need proper management for hostels
University is actually located in a remote area.
Climate is very hot, mostly dry and hot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum that influenced me is the GIS (GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM) part , apart from studying msc. Geography I needed a technical course. The curriculum offers lot of system practicals which will shape us. The areas to improve will be the AI and machine learning syllabus. Every 3 to 4 months,there will be exams including internal exams consisting of 25 marks. The sem exam will be 60 marks each. The exams are all easy.

I like my college campus very much it's very greenery and very spacious
The faculty is very friendly and their teaching is very good
Also the principal and AO mam is very approachable

I don't like the class room and the students
They are back bitting me I don't like them
I don't like the canteen and there is no food I likd

I choose this course because of this one's fee is very low but I studied it very well . If they develop their computer lab and the classroom it would be good The teaching method is very nice we can understand very easily
