Course Curriculum Overview
The course is pretty modern and advanced along with the faculty teaching them.The course is relevant in real world as they conduct seminars, conferences, internships around the state.The difficulty level of the exams depends on your preparation totally because the level is quite medium to hard .
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for first year in Msc In Earth Remote sensing and geo information technology is 18000( somewhat refundable) then 2nd year is around 13000. Scholarships for students are available on merit and low income families.
Campus Life
College life here is mostly study and chill. The temples , museum , food are good to try here . The jigarthanda drink is must near meenakshi temple.The Sarvana Store on the weekends are to go for shopping along with Ramraj .
Admission
The best college for this course would be IIRS dehradun , BITS in ranchi and Symbiosis but they are costly compared to this university. And the level of education and teaching is better here , IIRS classes are more or less open source and free to watch.
Faculty
The faculty members know english but in some departments it is still and issue . But the HODs in most of the departments are good and experienced. The exam structure is such that there will be 3 internal exams and 1 semester exam at the end .The marks structure and Internal exam structure depends on the department.
Night Life
There isnot such a nightlife here , for certain departments the nights are spent in labs for project and stuff. The nightlife in city is so so not that impressive . But there are few spots to party and go around
