Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) was established in 1965, under the Government of Tamil Nadu. Currently, it is offering MA, M.Sc, MBA, MCA, M.Com, M.Ed, M.P.Ed and M.Li.I.Sc courses in various disciplines. Apart from PG courses, the university also offers Integrated (BBA+MBA), Integrated (B.Tech+M.Tech) courses at UG level along with M.Phil & Ph.D. courses at the Doctorate level.
MK University also offers UG, PG, PG Diploma, Diploma and Certificate courses under Directorate of Distance Education.
- Madurai Kamaraj University offers admission to MA, M.Sc (certain specializations), M.P.Ed, M.Ed, MBA, and MCA courses on the basis of Entrance Test followed by an Interview. Entrance-based admissions are termed as Category A.

Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) Ph.D. Admission 2024
At the Doctorate level, MK University offers Ph.D. (Full-time/ Part-Time) courses in various specializations. A Master’s degree in the relevant discipline is the desired eligibility criteria. Admission is offered on the basis of university-based written test and interview.
Candidates with Junior/Senior Research Fellowship sanctioned by National/State level research funding agencies are exempted from the Ph.D. Entrance Test. Candidates selected by a Committee constituted by the Research Department or Institution and appointed in Research Project are also exempted from the Ph.D. Entrance Test.

Other than Fatima College, I have applied to two colleges. One is Thiagarajar college of arts and science, in this college I have applied for B.Sc. Mathematics and B.Sc Chemistry. For B.sc mathematics i have a seat in Self finance but not interested in studying self finance. For Chemistry major I have a seat in that college but I'm not interested in Studying Chemistry. Other College was Lady Doak College, in that college I have applied for B.sc. Mathematics major and I'm also seated on that college but I also have seated on Fatima College as well. So I prefer Fatima College to Lady Doak.

There is more intership offered by the campus such as nda, mobile working,lab working, outside the college courses,bsnl visit,rock fort visit. I gone to the nda intership which is one week internship about weilding and quality checker job. This placements are like infosys, accenture, vdart, Microsoft which are mostly top level companies

I applied for Loyola College in Chennai for master degree course. It was 2nd biggest college in Chennai. And hostel facility available for boys only and minimum cources only available for girls. Library facilities very huge.

This college is best and most disciplined according to other colleges compared to other South Indian Colleges. Students are well disciplined and framed how to lead their life is the real world. Good Marks(60%) in higher studies can help to get admission to the college

- I liked professors who taught the English through life lessons. They have many years of experience. More than lessons theytaughat us life, what is good and what is bad. The different kinds of professors are there.
- I love Library. The various collection of books, magazines, newspapers are there and also we could use internet in the library
Dislikes
- I don't have anything to say any blackmarks about my college
Admission:
I applied for M. A only in VHNSN because I wanted different experience. Previously I have studied in another college. So I thought my pg degree should be in some other college. I didn't get any rejection. If we apply once and if we are eligible for the course according to the norms of the college, they will call us to pay fee amount.
Likes
- My teaching faculties are very friendly and there teaching skills are awesome and easily understandable
- Here infrastructure and campus is very nice and surrounded with lots of trees and nature
Dislikes
- If you take leave without inform or late for one period they will send text messages to parents
- Some teachers are saw partiality in students
Admission:
• The eligibility of the course is more the 80% in English language in 12th grade • The application is in online and offline mode it cost 250 rupees for application form in online and they called for interview and select • They reserved some seats for Church of South India members • The difficulty of examination is easy or moderate • Apply before few months for better admission process
