Aspirants seeking admission to 4 Years Full-Time B.Tech Program must have passed 10+2 from the recognised Institute or Boards.
Course Details
Anna University offers full-time BE/ B.Tech and B.Arch courses in various disciplines at UG level. 10 + 2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission.
For BE/ B.Tech admission, the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks in 10+2 followed by TNEA counselling. NATA score in mandatory for B.Arch course.

Application Process for Anna University BE/ B.Tech & B.Arch Courses
Application form for BE/ B.Tech and B.Arch course offered by Anna University can be filled online by visiting the official portal of TNEA followed by document verification at the TNEA Facilitation Centers (TFCs). Students can exercise their choices of desired institutions and branches after paying the initial deposit, i.e., INR 500 (INR 250 for SC/ST/PH and INR 100 for special reservation category) by Credit/ Debit Card/ Net-Banking or through DD drawn in favour of ‘The Secretary, TNEA Admissions, Anna University payable at Chennai’. Final seat allotment is confirmed by the admission authority only.

- Syllabus was very simple while comparing to other universities.
- College atmosphere was very good. greenish campus

- Network coverage is very slow in our campus
- Placements are not good at all only less package

Tution fees on our campus was very low compared to other colleges.in this college provides low fee package to all students.to complete the course it only takes 400000 lac. college fees are very affordable.

- The college infrastructure is amazing and the faculty is good
- We have good amount of canteens....we have many extra curricular activities as well
Dislikes
- Placements are less which is not a very big problem....since it is our responsibility to get into one
- The teaching style can be improved better by inculcating powerpoint presentations and physical activities as well

Since I'm a student who joined via management quota I have to pay 75k yearly....for government quota students it is much less. The fees which I pay now is not really a burden and I find it affordable...

Tution fee can be hiked yearly for new admission students and B.tech food technology has complete cost around 3 to 4 lakhs including all service and other charges. Central government scholarship and state government scholarship is available.College provide internship opportunities for students

- Good surroundings and vibing atmosphere which helps me keeping engaged always
- Vast Library in and around the department with lot of books
Dislikes
- Lift will not working properly often and monkeys are more in numbers
- EV will not come all the time and if also comes it will be rush

The fee structure of anna university is 40000 rupees per year and examination fee of 150 rupees per subject. They also give concession of 10000 rupees for first graduates and various scholarships schemes are there to opt for.

- The historical infrastructure that looks good and it is the oldest university built first outside europe
- Friendly staffs and good libraries that has a lot of collection in every field of study
Dislikes
- The park and the path way will not be cleaned properly
- Information will not be shared properly until the last day of events

The fee Structure is ?20000 per semester and examination fee is ?150 per subject. If we have first graduate certificate we have have an concession of ?10000 in the semester fees. We can even get scholarship from various schemes such as SC/ST scholarship (from government) and from various educational loans

- The placement facility and environment of the collage
- Friendly faculties and most knowledgeable lecturers
Dislikes
- There is less space for the students to relax outside the collage
- There is no separate bus stop for the collage

Tution fees are remain same for the 4 years course it remains 80000 untill the graduation Lab fees are collected from the collage during the lab exams Every scholarships are available in the collage Every student who choose placement are placed successfully in that calendar year

- the neatness of our college is something to say separately. i visited nearby colleges like nehru and jct and i felt our college is the best for neatness.
- the campus is covered with trees and greenery

- the teaching skills of teachers aren't that good
- the college programs is not that much interesting . it has to be improved

the feed which I'm paying for Foodtechnology is 90000 per year. there is extra fees for hostel and buss. the fees which am paying for buss is 12,500 per sem. there are many scholarships but they are giving more importance to tamil students. thats a bad experience for me as am from kerala.

- The way there are treating is too bad and unconfortable
- There is no fredom for the students. There full of mental pressure

The cost of study is too hight. I have tuition fees up to 105000 in a year without hostel and food. There is no facilities fir this much fees like the lab and other technologies aare very poor. For a normal family they can't afford this college because there other fees like annulday ect. They are taking lot of money for every thing. Some of the students from my friends are studying form scolerships they have to pay half fees only.

- Exams were very liberal in the sense of marking system.
- The fact that they conducted online exam during covid was good.
Dislikes
- The canteen was very far from our canteen.
- While hostel life was good the food was very bad.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure was 100000 per year and 55000 hostel fees per year. The personal expenses were very low. There was no scholarship or financial assistance. There was placement but not for the department we practiced.
Likes
- The teaching method is really good and clear to understand. So that we can easily pass in exam.
- The rules are properly followed by the college. So, that there is no ragging and crime is happened in the college.
Dislikes
- The canteen food is not good as compared to the hostel. So, I wish they would change the canteen food contract.
- The bathroom is not in good condition. Sometimes there is a bad smell comes into the classroom.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The college fees are Rs. 64000. The fees depend upon various things for example If a student is their first graduate he needs to pay half of the fees is Rs. 32000 with a total fee of Rs. 64000. The average hostel fee is around Rs 40000.
