Mohanlal Sukhadia University (MLSU) is a government university located in Udaipur, Rajasthan. MLSU offers UG, PG Diploma, Certificate, and Research levels in the faculties of Science, Commerce, Humanities, Management, Engineering, Law, and more through 7 departments and 190 affiliated colleges. MLSU admissions are based on both merit or entrance examinations. Admission to regular UG and PG courses is based on merit, while the university conducts an entrance examination for admission to PG self-financing courses. MLSU also conducts an entrance test for admission to law courses including BALLB, LLB, and LLM.

Mohanlal Sukhadia University offers a diverse range of core and self-finance UG courses such as BA, BA (H), B.Sc., B.Sc. (H), B.Com, B.Com (H), B.Pharm, BCA, BBA, BHM, B.Voc, BTTM, B.Lib.Sc, BVA, LL.B, across all major streams. A pass in 10+2 with an aggregate mark of 40% in the cognate subject group is the desired eligibility criteria while for B.Ed, B.P.Ed & B.Lib.Sc courses, any graduation degree is accepted by the university. Admission to UG courses at MLSU is based on marks in the qualifying examination followed by university-based counseling. MLSU offers MBA in various specializations at Postgraduate level with a duration of 2 years. The basic eligibility for taking admission to this course is Graduation & the final selection will be done on the basis of an entrance test.
MLSU MBA Eligibility Criteria
For getting admission into MBA, candidates must have a Graduate Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks
MLSU MBA Selection Criteria
Admission to MBA is based on scores obtained in the RMAT examination followed by counseling conducted by the university. The University also accepts the scores of CAT and CMAT. However, the final selection is done on the basis of the merit prepared by the university.

Mohanlal Sukhadia University also offers Diploma and PG Diploma courses in various disciplines for the duration of one year. MLSU Diploma Eligibility Criteria
- For getting admission into a diploma in software development, the candidate must have done graduation.
- For getting admission into a diploma course in setting up a computer network, the candidate must have completed 10+2.
- For getting admission into a diploma course in basic electronics, maintenance of computer hardware, optical fibre, computer networking, the candidate must have cleared 10+2.
- For getting admission into a diploma course in Fashion merchandising & Readymade garments and Textile Designing, the candidate must have cleared 10+2 with 45%.

I opted for this college, because I had limited option among the location. I found the sitting areas and the NCC department of students led committe to be an impressive and kind of interesting for me. I had applied to MLSu and Vision Groups for same course but could not take admission due to high fees. Eligibility is 50% for taking admission in my college and regular students are more benefited with the program. I would suggest to enter in the Science courses if yes.
