The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

Rating for Chitkara University with two and half years of experience

Likes

I like the infrastructure and staff and the fest that happen every year.
If we talk about food you need to visit Square 1 and Square 2 , I like the food so much .
Next thing is that if you are a book lover you need to visit the library , I really like the environment.

Dislikes

I dislike the transportation department because the don't give students bus pass for government buses.
In Chitkara there is no fixed schedule and sometimes they even call on Saturday with a one day notice .
Food is good but is expensive , my personal review is that the prices should be reduced .

Placement Experience:

Well as far as i have listened placements are ok as I have talk to my seniors they say you need to have good CGPA in every semester and have some skills that make you unique, and if you can conquer both these parts your chances if getting places increases very much , average package is Rs.4,00,000/- to Rs.6,00,000/- .

Lovely atmosphere, friendly people, nice campus
Great faculty with one to one attention, so many events for enhancement of your skills
Transport facilities are good nice campus and easy to reach every one

Dislikes

Little over crowded and lot of unwanted things to be done
Timings and strictness for the things alot
Time consuming for reaching there so that's it

Placement Experience:

From the 7 semester most probably students gets started placing. There are lot of great companies comes and visits the campus for placements like tech Mahindra,Amazon and TCS and lot of more mncs come

Placement Experience:

Placements begin in the 6th semester. Companies like Amazon , Infosys , and Deloitte visit, offering roles in Software and AI. The highest package is Rs. 40 LPA , average is rs. 6-7 LPA with 90% placement rate. After my degree, I plan to pursue a role in AI development.

Reality of Chitkara University

Likes

There is a very very huge variety of food shops and u can find literally anything to eat inside the campus and its not soo expensive

Dislikes

There are uniforms in college and if u don’t wear one there is a fine pf Rs 50 and after taking fine they also don’t give attendance in class.
U cannot leave the campus before 3:30pm and college gets over at 4 pm and if u want to leave the campus u have to talk to mentor write an application get it signed by mentor with a stamp at dean offices and the mentor also talk to your parents
The campus is very much crouded as compared to size of the college

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for internship had placements. The companies which generally comes for placements are google, wipro, deloitte, Microsoft, HCL, TCS, LnT, Cisco, Infosys etc are some of the highest recruters in chitkara university. The average pakage is 5-6 lakh per annum and the highest package is around 1cr LPA . The campus usually tells us to keep the CGPA more than 7, I will go to foreign country after my degree

Likes

A lot of clubs in college to join thus social life is really good here and you can find your peer group easily
Classrooms and labs are really nice and there are various centres for other things like IOS centre for ios development
Almost all students get placed and some good companies come for internships

Dislikes

For cse students who live in hostel , classes are in the evening
College is 45 min away from Chandigarh cause I didn’t expect it to be that far

Genuine Review after real experience

Likes

Faculty is really good and supportive. All the teacher and other staff are always there to help. Mentors are there for each group to be raised queries related to anything.
Campus is really good. Be it the square one, apha zone or beta zone, everything is spacious and well organized.
Placements opportunity is good in Chitkara University. A large chunk of companies ranging from mass hirers to great package numbers appear in the college for campus placement.

Dislikes

Fee is a little unaffordable. Everything even the uniform and other basic things you have to pay extra to be at this college.
Due to large crowd, sometime it is difficult for a person to reach out for any help.
Too much examinations and attendance are other two things which could be better.

After 5th Semester, students are eligible for placement. More than 100 companies visits like Amazon and Razor Pay. Avergae package is 7-8 LPA. Highta package varies from 40 LPA to 1 CR PA. More than 80% of the students gets placed in the campus placement provided by the college. Plans after degree is to continue working in the companies I got placed in.

The placements are good i have been told by the people.
The infrastructure here is modern and nice.
Extra curriculum are also engaging and good.

Dislikes

people here are not so friendly which you may face difficulty with.
The university feels so chaotic and full of people.
The initial days are very difficult to survive if you are an introvert.

Placement Experience:

The college gives good placement opportunities to the students. companies like Infosys, Tech Mahidra, cipla and many more come here and gives excelent offers. The average package is around 5-6 lakhs and some of the students also get 30+. But in order to provide placements to maximum students , college also gives packages like 2-3 lakhs.

Environment here is really great i like it
They focus on academics really well and nice
They conduct seminars and organize many events

Dislikes

The things that i dislike is I don't like they restrict students going out
We need a gate pass to go out of the campus
Feel as if i am some 5 year old school student

I wanted to persue computer science that's why i did this curiculam is quite nice and prepares me for real world I don't have anything to be improved exams are conducted frequently here according to the subjects

"Elevating Education: A Review of Chitkara University"

The infrastructure of the campus is amazing. Girls to boys ratio is approximately 50:60 respectively.
Library is designed very well to do your studies peacefully in your free time, faculty is also supportive.
University's sports auditorium is very large and has 4 badminton courts. It has 3 big grounds called alpha beta and omega zones for playing various games.

Dislikes

The workload in certain subjects can be overwhelming, leading to stress and burnouts.
In college students think they will wear good clothes and will remain stylish but here you will have to wear uniform all day.
Social interaction with the students is quiet less here

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester students are eligible to campus placements. Wipro, TCS, Infosys and many more companies vists and maximum offer goes upto 50lpa and avergae is near about 3lpa to 6lpa. 80-85% students gets placed

The reality of Chitkara

Likes

Overall infrastructure lecture halls, and all the provided sports facilities
There are some great places to hang out with friends
There are a lots of clubs u can join to learn something new getting new experiences

Dislikes

The pace of the courses is just too fast like yesterday u were introduced to a language or concept and the next day u have an exam
I don't know about other sections but in my section I'm a third year and we have only been coached by trainers from coding blocks or coding ninjas like we have never seen an actual professor teaching us
They don't give some of the main holidays like on raksha bandhan there is no holiday

Placement Experience:

I think around 2nd year most of the students have mastered a language and they are ready to go and get some experience as an intern in those companies, it's claimed around 90% + students are placed and it's overall good there

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
