The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

Good in infrastructure,there is each type of food south food ,Punjabi food
Good placement are the teachers are very friendly nature
There is every type of games for play cricket badminton

Dislikes

We need gate pass for going out of the college restrictions
Are there we not go outside in the college after 9 :00 Pm
Average Placement are very much less around 3-4 lacs

Placement Experience:

Placement are good but there is less package around 3-4 lacs average package around 80 percent student are placed but hardly 10 percent student package is above 10 lacs mostly package are around 3-4 lacs per annum

College is good atmosphere is also good.
The hostel facility is also nice mess food also good.

Dislikes

Hostel for boys is very strict according rules.
Sometimes the mess up mess food and give u that shit like food.

Placement Experience:

On campus placements are good. About 70-80% students gets places from campus and also gets decent package. Students become eligible and also hets placements from 3rd semester. The average package a student get is about 3 - 6. Lac/annum.

Likes

Many opportunities in the university are there
Sports area is really good neat and clean
Placements offered according to the fees is genuine

Dislikes

Washrooms are a negative mark of the university
Bus service should be improved buses not much comfortable

Placements of chitkara university is good there is a 7lakh-8 lakh average package per annum for the computer science engineering more than 200 companies visites here amazon offers really good packages here even 50-60 lakhs per annum

The classes of our university is very good.
Their is anti-ragging policy in our university.
The teachers are also well educated,and more of them are from it sectors.

Dislikes

The girls is to boys ratio is not good at all.
Their are less events for day scholars.Mor for hostllers.
In some semester you have to maintain mire then 80 per attendance.

Placement Experience:

Hello. The placement rate of cse enginerring from last year is more then seventy percent students will placed.Top recuiters are hcl,infosys,tcs,eclerx and more.From sixth semester you are eligible to sit in company round.

Every college has its own speciality as well as cons.

Likes

Cooperating staff which helped me in choosing how to proceed further and what to opt and even how to start.
Infrastructure is good and students can roam around for mental peace
Sports facilities are very good , all the sports are there which is kind of necessity for today's generation

Dislikes

Too much restriction, students cannot go out on their own .
Too many extra curriculum courses which are not necessary they just want the submission whether student cheat or not that doesn't matter they just provide the online courses which pressurises the students.
Students cannot bring any eatables inside like order something from outside though inside cafes are expensive, not always so good. Zomato and swiggy aren't even allowed in campus and any food is not allowed in hostel whether student in hungry at nyt.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is very good . Most of the students gets placement offers around their 3rd year and they can appear for different interviews and can get placed based on their skills . They became eligible for placements around 5-6 th semester. According to me 70-80 percent of hard working students get placed via campus.

Chitkara University provides the most amazing infrastructure to the students and the food court is also good including Domino's , Barista, and many other food franchise.
Chitkara University also provide wonderful placement in almost every departments .
The security for students is also amazing in hostel as well .The mess food is also good we cannot say bad it's really nice and affordable.

Dislikes

The number of students in BE Cse branch is almost 2500 in my batch so very competitive environment at the time of placements
The gate pass thing that a day scholars need when he wants to go outside the university at the timing of class they need approval from class mentors.
In chitkara fest is not as big as it is in other government or private colleges they organise only dj nights in month's just for hostelers.

Placement Experience:

In 6 lth semester the placements drive was started at my time almost 300 companies visited to the college and many of the was startups . including TCS , Accenture and many more. Highest package is 45 lacks for the sde role provide by Auto desk . In my batch around 75% students got placed the number is lower than previous year because of recession.

The coding culture is great in chitkara university .
They have the state of the art lab that contains ios based computer
They have the great infrastructure and gave great ambience

The food canteen is little but expensive but quality is good

Actually the course curriculum is realy relevant to the subject we have to study , it prepare us to do something great in our field and the difficulty level of the exams are moderate to little tough

One thing I liked is the strictness and proper rules .. Bunk is rarely allowed
One thing more I liked was good competitive spirit is setup at earlier stages..
The emphasis they pay on sports and other activities and a lot of chances we get...

Dislikes

Teachers are (not all). But a lot are non. Inclusive they are always not ready to help and guide..
Campus is large but there is no proper response from library and other enhancing areas

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester every candidate can be choosen for placement and that's a really good thing about it ..They have a large number of companies like Wipro,yes Bank etc... Even Google approaches... The highest package is 52 lacs in this field .. 100% placement they say but ya 98% students do get placed ..My plans are to just try for placement that's it

Our college has superb infrastructure and facilities like free library,air conditioned and wifi on each floor of hostel
The teacher are very helpful,qualified and knowledgeable and quality of teaching is excellent
College organises many events and extra curricular activities for student

Dislikes

There are very few top companies that come for campus placements
Elctronic devices like bluetooth speaker hairdryer are not allowed to caary along with you

Placement Experience:

Students in 3rd year become eligible for campus placement companies like TCS, HCL, Airtel, Amazon, Wipro etc. has visited the university and over 1000 btech and 500 MBA students get placed last year and i am looking for good placements after my degree

Chitkara University, my personal experience

Infrastructure, library, classrooms, hostel
Mess, buildings, teachers, mentors, classmates
Friendly security guards, staff is good, examinations

Dislikes

Fees structure, its too costly for the same course other colleges offer
Maintainance of infrastructure, ac’s sometimes dont work
Holidays, they dont provide much holidays for students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I actually chose this course because of my interest in technology. Also, because my friends were going in this. The curriculum prepares a really well for the real world because like they teach us AI, which is important for coming generation Improvement in curriculum and teaching methods, I would say like teacher should be more friendly with students and know what methods they should use to gain interest for students to engage with them. In my university, the frequency and timing of exams are really low like they don't really provide any holidays or preparatory time in between the examinations so I would rate it 5 out of 10.

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
