CU BBA Tourism FAQs
Ques. What is the difference between BBA (Hons.) Tourism and BBA (Hons. with Research) Tourism at CU, and which should I choose?
Ans. The BBA (Hons.) Tourism is a 4-year program where students in Semesters 7 and 8 complete Advanced Research Methods, Research Tools, and MOOC-based courses. The BBA (Hons. with Research) variant replaces the MOOC courses with a two-phase Research Project/Dissertation in Semesters 7 and 8, requiring students to conduct original research under faculty mentorship. Students who plan to pursue an MBA or higher studies after BBA should opt for the Hons. with Research track, as it builds stronger research and analytical skills. Students who want to enter the industry directly after graduation may find the standard Hons. track more practical. Both tracks lead to a 4-year degree recognized by UGC.
