College of veterinary science and animal husbandry Bhubaneswar PASU SEVA MAHAN DHARMA..

Likes

I liked the course and the job opportunities it provides.
The faculties are very talented and supportive.
There are lots of conferences and national level training programmes occurs in the college.

Dislikes

The campus size is small.It should be a little large.

Internships Opportunities:

In the fifth professional year internship is offered to students. This is for one year in which they practice the field problems to the animals. They are sent to different farms for the practice of treatment of various animals.Stipend is given to them every month which is approx ?17000.

My College CBSH

Likes

Our college had a small garden inside its premises and I liked it the most.
My college had a very friendly environment and I learnt many things during this time.
There were excellent facilities in Math, Chemistry and Biology. I felt confident after I finished their classes and most faculties were friendly also.

Dislikes

Placement was really poor. It was only for Computer Science honours students. We didn't get a chance to sit in a placement session.
Infrastructure was average and there was no college field for sports.
College election was very nasty as local people were also involved during that time.

Placement Experience:

Placement was really poor in CBSH. Only students honours like Computer Science got chance to sit in a placement session , which began from nearly the 2nd year half yearly exam. I know only two of the companies who visited my college and they were TCS and WIPRO. Highest package was around 2.5lakhs pa and average package was around 1.8- 2 lakhs pa. Only a few students got selected but not everyone joined. My plan was very simple which was to prepare for the Civil Services.

Likes

There is good infrastructure and lab activities
Faculties are experienced and helpful towards students
All over india projects, research and development work are conducted

Dislikes

Poor placement cell organization among student as well as authority
Hostel facility are not up to the mark, regarding food and hygiene
Many departments are having less faculties due to which study is hampered a lot

Internships Opportunities:

We do a RAWE program under each block of odisha under the agriculture officer and block development officer. This is our internship and we get stipend of 12000 For this work. We get to know the ground level tasks which are quite helpful in our jobs

It is coming under the top colleges of odisha
The area is neat and cleand and cleaned every day
The environment is good in our college.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not good in our college
The hostel is insufficient amount in our college
The food quality is very poor in our college

Placement Experience:

There are different types of companies are visited to our college and the 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. My plan is higher studies after getting this degree. Average students are getting placement

I liked this college for study, sports and other curriculum
All students have dreams to take admission in this college
Every teacher teaches well ,they appreciate all students to ask questions

Dislikes

Light problem should be fixed, because sometimes light problem is occurring

Big it giant offers job , like tcs, tata ect Annually they come to visit in our college for offering job And pick some eligible students according to their needs So this apportunity is available there for students

Our college has best faculty members with very good practical knowledge and study experience
Our college has a good ratio of both boys and girls.Our college has not faced any problem regarding girls
We have a big playing ground to play and it provides us a big scope in co curricular activities

Our college has a little bit away from main Market

As this college is unable to directly give placements,but after this course we can give lot of entrances extra that only us who purchased this course. Also our university always doing lot of missions on research programs yearly which we can join after giving interview.

Veterinary: A noble profession

Likes

Theory teaching style of all the faculties are excellent
All the slides are quite informative for the exams
Ratio aof girls and boys are almost 1:1.

Dislikes

Practical exposure of students can be more better
The infrastructure is good but can be developed
Study tour should be planned in order to expertise students

Internships Opportunities:

Internship stipend is 15000 per month In the internship students get exposed to the real life problems and learn various things practically They interact with rural people and their problems and work on the things to improve or solve the problem

Veterinary life at ouat

Likes

There are many departments like 18 departments . Every dept has It's own value for animal treatment
The syllabus is very oriented also the college provides many opportunities to show your talent in cocoricular activities like dramatics and sports.
Teaching staff are well experienced and are very good in their field

Dislikes

Campus size and infrastructure is somehow underwhelming.

Internships Opportunities:

There is teaching veterinary clinical complex inside our campus only. So internees are benefitted with the experience they gather on treatment of animals there . Also they visit institutes like IVRI, veterinary dispensaries, voti, olrdc during the whole year of internship. Govt provides a stipend of 15750 every month for each internees.

Practical exposure is not so good . Although theory knowledge is satisfactory
There is always delay in getting scholarship

There is internship facility in 5th year. The students get exposed to rural area,and directly apply the knowledge in the field. Stipend is 16000 + The students become clinically strong and apply their theoretical knowledge in the field.

Likes

Our college has really good faculty who have really high expertise in their own subjects
It has a lot of facilities and amenities
The college has labs which provide proper practical experience

Dislikes

The infrastructure could be improved and made more better

The sports facilities also could be improved

Internship in different hospitals like Apollo and sparsh provide internship to our college with stipends Also program like elp and rawe are held as internship programmes different projects are done in this and tasks are completed
