KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Total tution fees for entire four years is 16 lacs for computer science branch. Hostel fees is 88000per semester. That means total fees is approx 22 lacs for four year years . During the addmission we need to pay 75000 for registration. Tution fees for 1 semester is 2 lacs . Top 1000 rankers in kitee exam got 10000 per month for entire four years. Rest fee structure is same for all of us.my batchmate who got scholarship pays 60000 less than me each semester. Also if you score 10 gpa in semester exam you get 10000 per month for next 6 month.

My Honest Experience at KIIT University B.Tech CSE

Student Snaps:

The fee structure for B.Tech CSE at KIIT University (2022–26) for General category students is quite high but well-defined. I paid around ?4.3–?4.6 lakhs per year as tuition fees, making the total tuition cost approximately ?17.5–?18.5 lakhs for the complete 4-year course. In the first year, additional compulsory charges like admission fees, registration fees, caution deposit (refundable), development fees, lab fees, and student activity charges together amounted to around ?70,000–?75,000. Hostel fees are charged separately and range between ?1.2–?1.5 lakhs per year depending on room type, with mess charges of about ?30,000–?40,000 per year. From the second year onwards, only tuition, hostel, and semester-related charges are applicable. The fees have shown an increasing trend compared to older batches, especially for CSE and other circuit branches. For students from SC/ST categories, many of my batchmates received government tuition reimbursement or post-matric scholarships, significantly reducing their effective fee burden. OBC and EWS students are also eligible for central and state government scholarships based on income criteria. KIIT additionally offers merit-based scholarships for top KIITEE rank holders and merit-cum-need scholarships for academically strong but financially weak students. Overall, while the cost is on the higher side, scholarship options and facilities partially justify the fees.

Tuition fees year wise : 550000 Tuition fees is same for everyone. Class toppers get a stipend or scholarship of ?10000 per year. Scholarship has a lot of other criterias to be maintained for example attendance, etc.

KIITEE MERIT SCHOLARSHIP KIIT provides free education to the topper of KIITEE2025 (only for B.Tech (4 years) if admitted at KIIT. In addition to this, KIIT provides scholarship to top 1000 rank holder of KIITEE 2025 (B.Tech - 4 years) during his/her study period at KIIT subject to fulfilment of criteria(i.e. Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics taken together). KIIT Merit Scholarship is provided to the university toppers of each semester based on CGPA for six months. Tution fees= Rs 4 lakh per year counselling fees= 75k

Till 3rd year.

First year:4.50 lakhs with one time fees of 75000 which you will get a laptop too Second year: you will have to give registration and exam fees of 10000. Following 2 years are the same with 4.52 lakhs per year and exam fees.there is kiit financial aid and scholorahip discounts through merit and you have to maintain a good cgpa if you want your scholorahip not removed.it is a private university and doesnt give caste based fee discount.

My University Days

Tution fees was too much for a private university, labs were well maintained and development was very negligible in those five years of studying.Proffers were good though some had a very bad teaching experience with students.
