Mizoram University Hostel Fees 2025, Facilities, Rooms, Food, Photos

Every room has two bed and there is no single room two wardrobe, chair , tables and bathroom for the students. They provide healthy and fresh meal two times meat per weak, dal is provided everyday. Its not that easy to get hostel confirmation because they are reserved for lower and middle class students who have a problem in families occupation. There is a lot of other pg near the college with low cost about 4000-6000 with high class room.

There is separate boys and girls hostel, and opposite gender are not allowed to enter both hostels. There are around 150 seats each for both boys and girls hostel. I am not familiar with hostel fees as I am a day scholar. Each hostels have kitchen. Cafeteria/ canteen is not located in the canteen. It is located near the department rooms. The food quality is awesome and they taste really good. The prices are also okay for college students. There are 5 guards each in hostel, and there are 3 other guards at the main gate of the college. Hostel is sharing room. There is no single room. There is Geyser, Wifi, Almirah, Study Table, Chairs, Bed and Mattress. The quality of the amenities are good to my knowledge. There is common room where the hostellers can eat together during dinner. The washrooms are attached to each rooms.

In the room we have 1 cupboard, 1 bed, 1 table and 1 chair, in one room. The mean quality average and manageable. The registration is done online in the college website and a interview is conducted they take into account the students marks, family quality. It is affordable as it is only 2500 per semester for hostel and 2500 for message fee per month

For UG students they are providing triple room and for PG students double room and for PhD students single room. Each room there will be a study table and shelf is available. For triple room 3 study table and 3 shelf. For double room 2 study table and 2 shelf. For single room 1 study table and 1 shelf. And using electronics like iron box,kettle and induction stove are permissible The food quality is bad. It is not tasty at all. They only give food two times a day. And most of the time there is no water in the hostel. There will be a Google form provided by the university and we want to register through that. And after someday there will be an allotment for hostel admission.

Hostel is facilities are moderate ,meal is also moderate if you can eat, there is no fan btw and kind of a water scarcity,if you want to rent a pg then it will cost between 5000-6500rs but it is worth it as there is no closing times in the pg

2700/month for the mess fee The mess is not that good And on every Saturday we have to clean the whole hostel as a service And they give water in buckets There's no flush water no tap water in the hostel You just have to use the bucket water for your own You get 17L water 2 buckets 4 times a week and 1 bucket 2 times a week and on Sunday you don't get any water

There are around 20 hostel altogether including boys and girls hostel. The expenses of hostel is quite low . But the mess is one major problem. However there is also a uni PG with much better facility and mess.

The facilities and infrastructure are not that good also mainly because I'm staying in the hostel which is supposedly the oldest or the first hostel for Btech in the University. The meal overall is good, the mess routine goes something like Sunday- Pork and Chicken, Monday- Chicken(leftovers if any) with Chana or potatoes (which frankly speaking is the worst), and potato/Chana Tuesday - Potatoes/Chana and Egg with some potato gravy, Wednesday- Chana/Potatoes and Fish, Thursday- Chana/potatoes and egg with potato gravy, Friday- Chana/potatoes, Saturday- Chana/potatoes. Regarding Hostel admission, it is quick and easy, and cheap too but the most important thing is to fill up and submit the form as early as possible because most of the time students don't get alloted a seat until the next semester which can be a big problem and I wanna mention this as a con because there should be enough hostel seats/rooms available which is not the case here.

The hostel is well equipped with Wifi and water facility. Meal quality is just like any other hostel. Hostel seat is easily available since there aren't many students. Both girls and boys hostel is inside the campus. Hostel fees are as minimal as 5000 per semester and mess fees must be below 2500. Renting is also available nearby, but it's best to stay in the hostel of you're new here.

No. But my friends are in the hostel. They have seperate room and dining hall. There are seperate rooms for Junior batch, Senior batch and Seniormost batch seperately, the fee is just around 800. The hostel seat applicable was around 400 each for boys and girls.
