Experience of my college life

Likes

Many programs are conducted by the college which are very beneficial for the students
The faculty of science branch is very good

Dislikes

There is nothing to dislike in my college
Classroom structure is so bad and campus is also so small

Choose wisely

Likes

Nice, neat and comfortable classrooms , lab has nice and latest computers. No restriction on using them
Security is good, canteen and food court has quality food

Dislikes

Carelessness. They told us to give placements but not giving their fullest
Too much of fees. Not giving output as required

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are no extra curriculum activities or clubs. Pur courae is basically like a private tution you have joined where you go 2/3 hours do your lectures and study and get back home. No clubs or nothing special, even annual functions are taken as formality, no faculty ia serious and excited to do these functions.

Mediocre Modern College

The college campus is not that big but is sufficient,there are different buildings for different courses for example for engineering students they have a different building and department
The overall students and teachers are good I was able to interact with them very easily

Dislikes

As my course is BSc we have to visit the lab more frequently the lab equipments and tools are old and not maintained properly
There is no life for our building(science, commerce,arts)

My course is BSc and I will be keeping my major as zoology as this course includes practical as well as theoretical knowledge I opted for this course. As we have theory and practical part as well we get to learn the real life applications and use of the particular lesson or practical it obviously helps us a lot in further academic pursuits I would suggest that this course should be more practical rather than theory In one Semester we have 2 exams and there are total 2 semester in one year the difficulty is mediocre and anyone can easily pass if she/he studies

I liked the way HOD themselves help students with there any official issues and teachers also helped student with there doubt teaching method is different for every teacher and is impressive
Infrastructure is also good also provides with Cocurricular activities

Dislikes

Issues with washroom and restroom cleaning
Faculty clerk might be not available sometimes due to overload work

The course I chose was BSc physics, this course helps to gain knowledge about the things we use daily the project in the third year gives us a chance to innovate and learn new things. This course also provides a great future ahead for those who want to be in NASA or Isro also about the college the whole physics department is very interactive and the teachers are very helpful. We have a semester pattern with an internal of 40 marks and an external exam of 60 marks the difficulty level is moderate

Likes

Teachers are so supportive and very helpful. They understand our problem and try to solve them.
There are so many activities are taken by college. College celebrates days and festivals also.

Dislikes

College campus is so small. Classrooms are not much big.
Some teachers are not a good listener. They don't try to solve students problem

I am in HV Desai college which is under Savitribai Phule Pune University the colleges very best no doubt the education is also best

Nice faculty, good classroom, very good teaching methods, mentorship quality.
Very good staff, well equipped labs, up to date teaching lessons.

Dislikes

Not very good career option, No scope after MSc zoology.
Totally waste after doing it..I personally recommend to not do bsc and msc.

Just a normal degree in science. Not much scope after this. Doing this course a person can just become a teacher. For a good scope one should attempt exams after the course. If qualified one can become lab assistant or get a place in research center.
