Mumbai University MA admission at all affiliated colleges and University departments are based on merit (marks secured in the qualifying examination). Candidates seeking admission need to fill the application form with a pre-enrollment form online. After the registration process is completed, affiliated colleges of the university will release merit lists of selected candidates based on marks secured in the qualifying examination. Selected candidates are then required to pay the admission fee to confirm their admission.

How to Apply for Mumbai University MA Admission?

  • First log in to the official website of the Mumbai University and click on the link for “Pre- Admission Online Registration” on the home page.
  • Then click on “Apply Online” and put your authentic details for registration and click on “Register”.
  • A verification code and a link is received on your mobile through SMS. Then log in with your verification code, enter all the specific details and requirements on the online application form.
  • Recent passport size colour photographs of dimensions 35mm x 45 mm with a minimum 72 to maximum 150 DPI resolution must be attached with it.
  • Registration fee of Rs. 100 must be paid through a Demand Draft in favour of “The Finance and Accounts Officer, University of Mumbai”.
  • You have to separately submit documents along with application form to the university.

  • Mumbai University MA program is a two year semester based program.
  • M.A. program offer Specializations like- African Studies, Arabic, Civics & Politics, Geography, German, Economics, Education, English, Eurasian Studies, French, Gujarati, Hindi, History, Islamic Studies, Kannada, Linguistics, Psychology, Marathi, Mathematics, Numismatics & Archaeology, Pali, Persian, Philosophy, Sociology, Statistics, Urdu, Avesta, A.I.C, Public Policy, Buddhist Studies, Entertainment Media & Advertising, Television and New Media Production, Business Economic, Public Relations, Rural Development, Russian, Sanskrit, Sindhi.
