The faculties ar much experienced and good communicator as well , they are specialized in the speciality and good experienced in the teaching fields , and there teaching method is also good as compared to aothers
They take seminars related to scholarships for students though there are certain eligibility criteria max students get chance to apply and win it.
There is a national festivals like republic day independence day and festivals like diwali and holi will be celebrated in the college.

Dislikes

classes are messy and not cleaned for days.
Some class have not proper maintain its feel like you are in old home without construction canteen is not good too much then food is also not good
There is no network in the college so laptops and mobile dont work there welll.

As a government university they provide various opportunities and schemes for students benefit, they provide railway concessions passes for 2 rupees per person
Various amazing opportunities of attending seminars and conferences are provided on a nominal rate of 100-200 per person, unlike other universities which charge 500-1000, other learning opportunities like expert guest lecturers are also conducted

Dislikes

They have electricity/current issues, often few phases of lights are off also less permanent faculties leads to over load on them resulting in long gaps between lectures making it difficult for the students travelling from long distance as it wastes
(Continuation) Their time, more permanent faculties could resolve this issue for a better reason

The curriculum is relevant, covering practical and theoretical aspects, which influenced my choice. It prepares well for real-world applications. Improvements needed in updated content. Exams are moderately tough and frequent.

Many curriculum activities along with prizes and certificates are often provided
Teaching staffs are professional and teaches very well
Seminars, activities, lectures, field trips, college trips are the best part

Dislikes

Campus is very small as it is in the middle of highway
Congested benches and no ventilation and coolers due to which it feels hot during summer
Too many programs and activities together making it hassle for students. Sometimes they are forced to attend every thing compulsorily

Course Curriculum Overview:

While searching on internet I got to know about this course that's where I earned interest for this course that made choose this course. The practical knowledge shared by the faculty at their best helps for real life applications but still practical knowledge is gained beyond college course pattern which can be gain in internships. By providing more practical knowledge beyond the theory part of the course may help students greatly by learning real life experiences. Exams are usually held by morning at the college timing (9:30 am).

A little insight of the sndt university

Likes

the campus is really good,sorrounded by trees really peaceful for mind
it has a small cafeteria outside the college which serves really amazing food
There is stationary and print shops inside the college it self which prevents the hustle of going out if we require something

Dislikes

non teaching staff is sometimes very rude
washrooms are not that clean and hygenic
Very recently there was an electricity issue due to which we had to study without fans and light

Ive always been very interested in learning the nutrition and sndt had one of the best teaching staff,they do take us outside the campus for various activities so we can be prepared for it,weve been to hospitals,ngo's for various assignments

Our college only for girls . My College was best for the girls and women and also safe .
My college has best security services . Every girl has secure in college
The staff was very comfortable and sweet . College has good service like washrooms and computers lab.

Dislikes

The problem only was the girls were not listening and learning from teachers

Placement Experience:

After the 5th semester students became an eligible for campus placement. The 10 big companies offered internships for students. The higher package I don't know but the exam are givens for getting placement My plan after degree are given bank exams

I think in this college , syllabus is different from mumbai univeristy . which is a plus point considering they teach different subjects . for example we have subjects which is a plus point like integrated Data strcture analogue algorithm analysis ..
Faculty are kind few faculty i repeat .Few teachers are kind after you pass there subjects which is quite funny haha
Fees for other cast student is very less. There are three canteen in the entire campus

Dislikes

FEES STRUCTUREE . Fees for general caste student is very highh . Its more like the amount you are paying is the amount you get after completeing the course.
There are three canteeen . However the one near my college doesnt not wide variety of food . And the canteen which have foods is far and is usually crowded.
Some pcs in lab dont work . minus point i guess

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered . everyone get placed except students with very low cgpa . they obviously cant get placed . as mentioned earlier try to atleast score above 7.5 cgpa . you will also get the opportunity to attend minor degree programs . which is good

Likes

Proper consideration of each and every student.
Examination and strictness is quite important and that is here.
Co curricular s are equally important like academics participation matters.

Dislikes

Delayed in sending notes and completing syllabus
Delaying in completing syllabus makes a problem during exams
Sometimes active co-operation lacks in some cases.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teaching methods are way effective and help the students for better understanding and knowledge. As BCA focuses more on the basics on all of the coding languages but the teachers tells nd gives idea of entire language and related and effective knowledge.

Easy to pass if you pay attention. Oncampus placement so not much hassle. Other extra curicullar is a lot

Dislikes

The timing is hectic to attend. Placement preparation is very not upto mark. Doesnot let us pursue extracuricullar related to our field

From 3rd sem they become eligible for campus placement. Companies visites is available on their website max is ig 19000. Now ig second year is also made eligible. Everything is available on their website. My plans are to leave this college as soon as possible so dk

The exposure of hospital visits with dietitian and specialised doctors
College staff is very supportive and understanding
Also it offers specialisation in different field. So that you master into it.

Dislikes

Fees are very high for this course comparative to other colleges
Completes the portion very late and do not share the syllabus for the same
Extra charges for research guide, ethical committee and statistician

Course Curriculum Overview:

The hospital visits, ward rounds and OPD with specialised doctors and dietitians. External faculty lectures made me choose this course and up till I'm having a great learning experience with less work load. Though there should be an improvement in Last minute piling of assignments and internal assessment, also they should share the syllabus with the students.

My holistic experience in UMIT

i like the teaching staff they're very well and they support extra curriculars as well
i like the variety of councils available to choose

Dislikes

Not much of a crazy college experience present
very less activities happen in college most of them get very less participation

Placement Experience:

the placements are the most encouraged in our college since every teacher aims to help the students become fit for the placements the teachers are also very cooperative when you can't bag a placement offer
