When I joined Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Nagpur, the fee structure was fairly transparent.
Here is the breakup of the fee structure :
1. Tuition fees : 1,39,131
2. Development fees : 20869
3. Total fees : 1,73,554
The fees may vary category wise :
For open it may around 1,74,000 Rs
For OBC/EWS it may around 1,04,000 Rs
For VJNT it may around 35,000 Rs
For SC/ST it may around 13,500 Rs
The Government provides various scholarships like MahaDBT and Other Scholarships.
The Other private Scholarships are also there for the students.
In first year the college fees is around 37,000 if you are female the all the fees will refund as a scholership to your account.
37,000 is the college fees which does not include any examination form fees if you're belong to category then you need to apply for scholership at mahadbt site .
The college fees for female candidates is almost zero .
It's doest based on merit percentage it's just depends on your cast .

Biotechnology Department is better than any other dept in our college, so if you are going to enroll for that particular program in nagpur, i think hislop college is best option.Major subject will be Biotech but you will have to choose minor subjects among Botany and zoology. Chemistry is the compulsory one.
For each year the tution development fees is 59,547 and other fees amount is 13,500 making the total of 72,847 per year under part A . Under the part B , approximate expenses include transportation - 32,000 . laptop ,unifrom & Book is upto 5000 to 70,000 ( first year ) , and lodging & boarding - 75,000 annually . therefore the total yearly expenditure come to aroound 1,12,000 to 1,77,000 depend on the hostal and metrial cost . Over the four year the complete coures fees is approximately 5,13,000 excluding variable costs. and for category like ST/SC is 13,848 per year and for EBC it is 24,568 per year and OBC has 75,484 rs fees per year . Merit-cum-Need scholarship provided by the maharashtra government .
To get admission in B.Pharma course of RTMNU, applicants must have passed the 12th standard in Science stream or must have completed Diploma in Pharmacy.
