Students typically become eligible for campus placements from the penultimate or final semesters, depending on the course and university policies. Companies visiting for placements vary widely depending on the field of study. However, prominent companies across sectors such as IT, finance, consulting, and engineering often participate.Highest and average package offerings depend on various factors like the company's profile, industry, and the candidate's skills and qualifications. For instance, in IT sectors, the highest package could range from 10-30 lakhs per annum, while the average package might be around 6-8 lakhs per annum. In non-technical fields, such as finance or consulting, the packages could vary similarly based on factors like job role, location, and company reputation.

The course curriculum here at Calicut university consists of English, secondary language, tourism principles and basic computer and statistics. It is a really great syllabus which prepares you for having a good knowledge in the tourism industry.

The college placement cell is very active and always put their best in providing placement to the students. Last year more than four hundred students were placed in different companies and cities like Bangalore, chennai and Hyderabad.

last semester students are eligible for placements and the students on middle semesters have internship opppurtunities many of my collegemates went for overseas internship programmes at thier 4 th smester Allianze company accenture nationalised banks etc offered placement programme in our college and many are placed with annual package of 3.5 lakks minimum starting im planning to do my post graduation and i applied for a placement at allianze company and its procedures are on going

Bachelor's of arts in English provides you with good communication skills and helps in the rise of ability in our current skills . The teaching methods gives us the chance express ourselves and department gives positive vibes to the students .

The syllabus is as per the university provided. The Calicut university syllabus is very beneficial for furtger education. The exams are conducted in each every 5 -6months. The syllabus provides various extracurricular activitues.

History leads to the past and knowing our past will make us a better citizen. This was the reason why I chose History. Choosing history can make us understand our culture, tradition in a better way and help us understand societal problems in a better way as we view the problems in a historical perspective. The teachers in the history department of the college are very friendly towards the students and are updated in their fields. The exams are conducted semester wise at the end of every semester and the exams are moderately difficult.

The curriculum includes many histories of the people who coming from below of the society that influenced me to opt this course. It shouldn't be bookish learning it is not suitable for every students. The learning should be more from the field. There is 2 sem exams in one year that appear very difficulty for students to cover theri syllabus
