Yeah it's very good for class room is great and lab is workable we have onam programs and xmas, arts day, sports day, youth festival, freshers day its good there is two clubs nss and nature club and good friends
The attitude of the teachers were very rude but their way of teaching is very nice and we can easily score good marks in the exams.
The college have job placements in channels like asianet, and have some institutes like brilliant, also the channel karikku.we have internships at newschannels and other institutes and may get permanent jobs if they like our work.

Dislikes

Facilities are very bad theory is no very good infrastructure facilities provided
The distance from hostel to department is too large and its so difficult to walk
It's a very poor system that's made to waste the time of students as they cram everything from practicals and theory, leaving no space for real life applications .

Environmenal Science at MGU

Likes

Updated labs, friendly and supportive teaching staffs, free environment, wide area for exploring
University campus is also very calm. There are department libraries along with a main central library
Chances beyond the field of academics to improve the self and increase the vision of life and perspectives.

Dislikes

Department libraries are accessible to 5'0 clock. This is a little bit disappointing but central libraries are nearby.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The area of study is multidisciplinary hence all fields of graduates are welcomed here.This include ecology, environment laws, GIS technologies, statistics, researchers, instrumentation. Hence environmental issues are aggrevating nowadays it's important to study and development these fields. The job opportunities for this field will increase gradually. The course curriculum is more socially and practically oriented apart from the scientific theories. It is an applicable level course with lots spirit for protecting the environment. There are environmental science and Disaster Management, environmental science and management present here. Any graduates can apply who have knowledge about the present day situations, climates changes and environmental changes etc.

Dislikes

The strictness of teachers towards the use of social mefia in the campus
Uniform dress code for each batch students
No placement cell and no campus recruitments

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was interesting and engaging. The teaching methods were lecturing and also self study by students through research. Exams were conducted after each lesson. Wide collection of books in the library gave the perfect opportunity for self study

Placement Experience:

In bachelor the students are eligible for placement in the end semester and same for masters also. Every year once or twice campus selection is there. Many reputed company are coming for the selection. Students are getting good package for the job

Likes

Place was too beautiful and a cam atmosphere.
The facilities are very friendly and helps in improving skills.
Overall it was a good college and helps to enjoy the life.

Dislikes

Phone are not allowed and somewhat very strict.
There is un necessary laws here just like forcing to follow those rules
The programs conducted by the college is not so good

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's my dream to become a PhD scholar so the journey continues. From 10th onwards chemistry was my favourite subject. By pursuing master's degree, increases the subject knowledge. First semester exam was conducted on time.

A journey through my college……

Likes

College is eco-friendly and it is neat and clean.
Faculties are very supportive. Not only in studies but also in extra curricular activities.
12 students in my class are very friendly and supportive.

Dislikes

Some times it feels like a convent school.
There are so many restrictions and treat us like a child.
Interval time is very short and number of students in the college is very less.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to become a PhD scholar, so l prefer this masters degree. And chemistry was my favourite subject from 10th onwards. I got inspired from my high school teacher. At first it will be harder, later you will adapt with the subject.

The campus life is very beautiful. In the campus we get so many friends. The programmes are very energetic programme.in here we are actually fee birds .our freedom is in our hand so we can enjoy it.
In the accademically we have so many improvement is possible. The future opportunities are we identify in the campus. The teachers are very good and they are guide our future life.
The college hostel is very good and where the life is beautiful. The studying in the hostel is very possible some people's are said the university hostel is note beautiful but I like the hostel.

Dislikes

The food not like in here . Because Iam from the Malabar area so lam note like the foods.
This campus is located in the village area of the night transportation is very bad. Proper shopes are note possible in here

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mg university is the better option of the studying msc chemistry. The syllabus of this institution is Net, gate oriated. The teachers are good and they hold PhD, and somany postdoc. The teachers good to teaching and they publish the review papers. They are very supportive to publish review papers and doing mini projects.The conduction examination is correct timing no late.

Infrastructure, building design and infrastructure are very good also it like antique model
Good library facilities lot of book and journal so we can read and got new knowledge
Good faculty, faculty they are doing thire phd in famous iits and Central university

Dislikes

Mgu situated in a rural area so transportation facilities is not good transportation not getting any time
Hostal room are messy in some times, mosquito also thire
Vast area almost 110acres so their is no proper transportation, university entrance and department are far away

Curriculum in mgu is based on the CSIR,GATE So its help to cracke the net and gate Curriculum was good help to improve more knowledge Also the teaching method good they giving assignment and semminar in a proper way Giving assignment and seminar we learn how to do an proper assignment and semminar Semester exams are in the proper Way's Conducting sem exme in a preopre way. We get lost of time to study and revise

MSc chemistry has lot of opportunities in industrial and academic field. Well qualified professors are provided here. They are also active researchers. All of them have phDs and post doctoral degree. They maintain their professionalism in teaching. Exam are take places timely in scheduled manner.

Faculties and method of teaching is attractive.
Big library with any time access through online also.
Cultural fest conducted by different departments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Currently I am doing my postgraduate degree in Microbiology. I am really interested in learning about microbial world and also like to research more about their life. The faculty members of the college is highly qualified and most of them are having doctoral degrees. They are so supporting for the students.

Review for Government college

Likes

The fees : As it is under government, it have low fees, affordable for every students and for reserved students it is very low
Sophisticated labs : college provide labs for geomatics, sophisticated microscope labs, geochemical lab
A rock garden, museums. Main course in this college is geology

Dislikes

It's bit strict in academics. Maybe feel little stress
Programs are less in college. As students are low compared to other college, it feels some silence

I choose the course because i loved the subject, love to learn about earth after bsc i would like to take msc for further studies.
