KVASU Ph.D Poultry Science: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Aspirants seeking admission to 3 year Full-time Ph.D Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Eligibility for admission:

Eligibility for Ph.D. Programme is Master’s Degree in the respective/ related subject recognized by the University with an OGPA of 7.5/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks at Master’s Degree level. For SC/ST candidates the OGPA shall be 7.0/10 or equivalent. Students awaiting results can also apply. They should produce attested copy of the final mark list on or before the date of interview.

Mode of selection and admission:
As a part of selection procedure there will be separate entrance examination and interview by the University. The nature of the entrance examination will be of objective type with questions on general knowledge and the subject concerned. Selection shall be done on the basis of the OGPA in the qualifying exam, score in the entrance exam, experience, published articles, interview and the extracurricular activities of the candidate.

Candidates will be considered for admission only if they secure a minimum of 40% marks in the entrance examination. The minimum is 30% for SC/ST candidates.
