Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) Admission 2025 is open to all programs. The flagship program, B.V.Sc. & A.H. will admit students based on the NEET score conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). After the NEET 2025 examination, there will be centralized counselling available as per directions from the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) as well as the Government of Kerala. To gain entry with respect to B.Tech. programs, the admissions will be through KEAM or ICAR AIEEA UG. Similar rules apply to all postgraduate programs, M.V.Sc, M.Tech, and Ph.D. qualifications, in which the students will be selected based on respective entrance tests, as in KVASU, or through an ICAR entrance exam.

KVASU UG Admission 2025

KVASU B.V.Sc. & A.H. Admission 2025

The B.V.Sc. & A.H. program is the flagship course at KVASU, designed to produce skilled veterinary professionals. Applicants must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, securing at least 50% aggregate marks in these subjects. Selection is strictly based on NEET merit, followed by centralized counselling. The seat intake is limited and as per VCI norms.

KVASU B.Sc. Admission 2025

KVASU offers B.Sc. programs in Poultry Production and Business Management. Applicants must have completed 10+2 in the Biology stream with at least 50% aggregate marks. Admission is through a university-conducted entrance examination.

KVASU Admission 2025 FAQs

Ques. When will NEET 2025 counselling for KVASU take place?

Ans. NEET 2025 counselling for KVASU admissions can be expected to happen in July 2025 after the NEET 2025 results come out. Candidates will have to register for counselling from the VCI or State Government website.

Ques. Can I apply for more than one UG programme in KVASU?

Ans. Yes, you can apply for more than one UG programme provided that you meet the eligibility for both courses. Note, that you may need different application forms for each of the entrance exams.

Ques. How many seats is there for B.V.Sc. & A.H. course?

Ans. As per VCI norms, the number of seats for B.V.Sc. & A.H. programme is decided by VCI which can change every year upon government notification.

Ques. Is there any reservation for students that are domiciled in Kerala?

Ans. Yes, KVASU has followed the Government of Kerala reservation policy, including the categories SC, ST, OBC as prescribed by the Government.

To get admission at this college one has to crack the NEET UG exam or TBJEE exam. For NEET UG, the examination fee is 1700/-(UR), 1500(sc/st). 30 seats are reserved for st/sc. The admission process is through entrance rest. This course is only in 2 colleges in Kerala. 1st one in Palakkad and 2nd is Pookode. Anyone who secures 50 percent can appear for the test. there is only 25 seat on each campus. The main campus was in Palakkad and it provide placement to large poultry farms such as Venkis, sugunan, Kerala Chicken, Brahma Giri, etc. This is a 3-year professional degree program with vast career opportunities.
