APU College Life

Likes

The courses are well-structured, with updated syllabi and very interesting readings
The faculty is really helpful and very resourceful
The campus is big, with a lot of facilities and a vibrant student life

Dislikes

There is not enough student representation in college administration matters
Hand-written exams can be really hectic and can lead to cramming

Placement Experience:

Placement Cell is very active. There are various opportunities from different NGOs, grassroots' organisations, international organizations and think tanks. Average packages are around 50,000 to 60,000 per month.

Azim premji university through my lens

Likes

The faculty here is amazing and up to the mark. The infrastructure and hostel building is new.

Dislikes

Too many luxuries, I feel are provided. Campus is in an isolated place.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not as strong if compared to TISS. A few good organizations also come like reliance foundation, pradan and azim premji foundation and FES. Around 90% people get placed every year. My plan after this course is Phd.

Amazing life at APU

Likes

The first thing I liked that its an very inclusive college and you feel equal and they don't judge on from where you come from
And obviously the office hours which is a great help for your learning and development
And all of things here are student oriented so you get to learn leadership skills

Dislikes

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it is very vast and you can design this course based on your understanding. And the course is practice based more than that of the bookish based. And it is designed in such a way that you have to take part in discussion.

Good college for social sciences if students are self awareness.

Likes

APU campus has Democracy in the campus. Students from all caste class gender have represention.
Azim premji University keeps organising talks which are highly relevant and from all areas of interest.
Azim Premji University offers financial support to students coming from weaker section.

Dislikes

Azim Premji University new campus is a concrete jungle.
The buildings could have been less grey and less concrete.
There are very few college fest that too mostly boring.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course design of Masters of Development course at Azim Premji University has relevance in time the course is updated every year. Apart from course book faculties taught from current articles debates and current situation about the issue.
