The faculty of our department is very nice. they have very strong knowledge of the subject and also they are involved in very good research project.
Yes college also provide many scholarships to students and they were too helping.
"hillfair"-this is the cultural festival of the college two unforgettable nights filled with fun, joy, laughter, entertainment, learning, bonding, interacting with batchmates as well as seniors for the overall growth.

Dislikes

The placements of my college have became quite bad gradually, and they have fallen quite badly .
Hostels and their washroom are in pathetic condition. mess food is also not up to the mark . overall hostel condition is not good. almirah and chairs are broken ,
Teachers and staffs are bit of biased to the himachal pradesh

Likes

Beautiful campus with lush greenary around
People from different parts of india are here..some foreigners also
Placement for computer science people are really good

Dislikes

Almost no placement for architecture students

Course Curriculum Overview:

My reason to choose this course was keenly dependent on my interest n passion for building and constructing newer form . Faculty is amazing in what they do and teach . Also india is in its intial stages to accept architecture.that's one of reason for less placement anywhere..be it here or any other college

sad reality of Nit hamirpur

Likes

the size for the full campus is to big and long
there are alot of greenery in it and hilly things
students come from different part of india

Dislikes

alot of students do joints and smoke all the time
faculty are not good and helpfull sometime
hostels are not good there are not regular maintaince

placement from 8th sem we can apply for campus placemnet in architecture there are total 10 semester so we can apply from 8th sem onwards also the placement cell is very active during placement time so alot of students got there dream package

Campus of callege is very beautiful.Our department is also pretty well and everything is in good condition.
Hostel mess food is also pretty good then I expected before.
Variety of clubs and committee to engage with to inhance your skill, personal growth.

Dislikes

Average package especially of our course is not satisfying
Hostel and department are very far from eachother we walk alot

I choose this course because i was interested,and well it is not that easy you have to work a lot, sleepless nights. But with time you will cover up everything.. Continuity and patience is main that matters.By looking at previous year paper I don't think exam are that difficult.

Reality of College

Likes

Campus is huge and beautiful. Lot greener than expected.nature is all around you
The weather is nice the whole time its not extreme hot but you can experience hot days too

Dislikes

The campus is big so you have to walk a lot to reach your department or any other shop nearby
There are a lot of restrictions for first year especially for girls which is very sad
There is no water in the hostel at times and if there is water it is not of good quality

Placement Experience:

Placements in architecture are not mind blowing in India as it needs passion. Good companies like Walmart visits for campus placements Around 70% students are placed with an average package of 400000 and highest package of 600000 I will go for a master's degree in abroad maybe

Well everything is good anout course and teaching methods. And about exam timings ,we have two exams one is mid semester and another is end semester so mid contains 30 marks and end semester contains 50 marks out of these tottal students were pass out of 100 marks and difficultly level is good because its gain the knowledge

Likes

Infrastructure is amazing. The campus is really big and has shops, cafes, sports complex, salon etc inside the campus itself
Hostel and mess facilities is really good
Faculty is good and are experienced there are alot of lab facilities too

Dislikes

There are too much of college clubs and work load is too much

Placement Experience:

In the 10 semester of barch students are eligible for campus placements. The companies which come for recruiting are Larsen and tubro, weconstrust, amozeb etc. This year out of 32 students 27 were campus placed 3 are planning for masters and 2 are placed outside campus

I like the campus in which it is built at the hieghts of Himachal Pradesh.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is good as the many companies comes in the campus at the different time of the months for final and third year. The average package of the placementa is also good as maximum students get placed.

Campus , Location, climate also, academic performance of students too good
Greenery, nature friendly, professors also very helpful
Every facility is available here, students and tech fest, cultural fest like hill fair is mainly known are celebrated by all over the college

Dislikes

Disability of train, Every stationary things are not available in campus
Ragging in architecture like Hindi intro infront of senior , senior's hostel like Himadri, Appreciate Himachali students
Not checking papers properly by some (little bit)teacher, if you have good connection with teacher You will be pass otherwise if don't have good connection with teacher maybe your your marks will deduct

Placement Experience:

College placements are good, about 70 to 80 percent of students get placed every year and many students also do internships in their 2nd or 3rd year. The faculty also invites companies for placements of students.

Life at nit hamirpur as architectural perspective

The college campus life is very good as its very green and mountain views are very good
The sports of college is very good as many facilities are provided

Dislikes

College is very big so you have to walk a lot
Each hostels are very far from each other
There is no student body formed in the college so the decisions are of authorities only

Placement of college is moderate as we are architecture students so placement are provided to students who apply and have the eligibility criteria for the placement , manycompanies like l and t construction and other construction companie recruit architecture students The average placement is 600000 per year

College life experience

Likes

Campus is good and mind-blowing because it is in peaceful environment.
Hostels are good, their meal and menu is aslo good.
Faculty is good, intelligent and experienced.

Dislikes

Some time water us not available in some hostels.

Course Curriculum Overview:

All over is good. Depending upon the course you choose by your interest which helps you in your future. Not sure about improvements for which college is required. But my college is good for that course which i chose.
