JUIT Solan Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

In the 5th semester, you are eligible for placement. As I am in the 4th semester so I don't have the exact no. Companies like Infosys, Amazon, Google Microsoft, Paxcom etc. The highest package will be 32+ and average is 5 lakhs. ACC to JUIT placement cell show 100% placement. After my degree, I will get placement otherwise study for gate exam.

I guess after 2 nd you're eligible for internships if you have the skills you'll get assistance from college professors to land internship. Though it's a private university so highest is around 20 lpa and average is around 3.5-4.5 lpa. Percentage of students getting placed is higher. Mostly 70% of the finals year students get placed Before graduation. My plans after getting the degree will be doing the masters in data science.

One of the primary reason was that I wanted to do Engineering from a college that is located near to my hometown and also which is reputed one. At the time I joined the university It hold a rank of 37 in India among the top engineering colleges. Since I am from Shimla I will not comment about how pleasant the weather is. For weekends you can go Shimla as it takes 1.5 hours to reach. The mess facility is very good. Campus is not very big but beautiful. Study is like any other engineering college in India. Some Professors do good job but there are many who just do formality. One night study before exam is enough to score decent marks.

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The highest package made was 27.8 lakhs and the average package lies between 4-6 lakhs. The college is supportive in placements as there is its own TnP cell and it also provides several opportunities to the students. More than 90% of the Students get placed every year.

From 7th sem, we are eligible to sit for the placements. Almost 150+ companies visit our campus. Some of the top companies are Amazon, ZS , ZScalar, Infosys, Wipro, TCS. Last year's highest package was 30 lakhs by Amazon as a SDE. 90% of students get placed and the rest 10% opt for higher studies. I would like to go for placement in an established company.

Placements are pretty good. Companies that offer greater than 6 LPA come in the month of august during your 7th sem, so you need to start the preparation from semester 5th at least. Companies like Amazon, Zscaler, ZS Associates, Cognizant, Infy, and many more visit the campus.

There are a variety of companies that come for the placement drive like, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Z-Scalar, etc. The highest package from our College has been 30LPA and the average ranges from 7-8LPA. Almost 100% of CSE students who sit-in the placement drive get placed. My plan is to get placed in a product-based company.

The placement starts from the 7th semester as soon as the semester starts. A lot of companies come to the college throughout the year. Few companies come directly to JUIT, for big companies like Adobe, Amazon you have to go to JIIT Noida for pool placements. The average package is around 5lpa which varies a little each year. Many product and service-based companies come providing a package ranging from 3.5lpa to 27lpa. As the college claims 100% placement, it is true that everyone actually gets placed. At the end of the day, the package depends on your skills.

We are eligible for internships from the 5th semester onwards and for the campus placements after the completion of the 6th semester. Many product-based and service-based companies visit our campus every year like:- 1. Amazon 2. Google 3.ZS Associates 4.ZScaler 5.ByJu's 6.Infosys 7.Cognizant 8. Wipro and many more. The highest package offered is by Amazon is 30 LPA in previous years and 27 LPA this year. The average package offered is around 4-6 LPA. The percentage of students placed is around 95-98% in the CSE branch. My plans after getting the degree are to get placed in a good company.

Our college has a very active placement cell. A student interested in getting a job after 3 years of the course and should be a part of the placement cell. Last year from our course CSE 182 eligible students are there out of which the total number of the absolute offers is 148, percentage of the total offers is 123%. Many top companies like Deloitte, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, BYJU's, Cognizant, LIDO, Z-Scaler, Accenture, and other tech, as well as non-tech companies, visit our campus. The average placement of JUIT is 3.5-4.0 lakhs every year.
