JUIT Solan Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

One or two companies visit in the 6th semester. The rest of the companies visit the campus in the 7th and 8th semesters. Students also get an opportunity to sit for placements in JIIT Noida. Companies like Google, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and many more visit to hire students as employees.80-90 percent of the students get placed in CSE, IT, and ECE branch. Packages are like from 3LPA - 28 LPA. My plans are to get a job in these companies only which have started visiting the campus as it is my final year. The highest packages are sometimes 28 LPA and the lowest would be around 3LPA. The average package is between 4 and 8 LPA. The companies start coming for placement after the start of the 4th year and more than 75 companies visit in total which gives student very good opportunities and options to choose the company and select the field of their liking.

The admission criteria is based on your JEE ranking or on the 12th percentage.

Good placements and positive environment. Faculties are always ready contribute. Various events are organized for giving better understanding of industrial field. Course and curriculum is more in a personalised way and cover almost every aspects a student may think of. Scope of ECE in tech as well as government field. Also I had always been fond of devices

The college is better than most colleges with similiar NIRF ranking. Because what we mastered in our first year are still being learnt by other colleges in first year. The quality of education is at par here. Also the view is super amazing. And since the number of students is less, we get full attention.

JUIT has a great infrastructure with all facilities within the campus. The college provides best faculty in each department. The college has transfer and placement cell which provides facilities to each student to get placement if he or she has clear academic record. The average package lies between 4-5 lacs. There are proper rules in academic block which is clear justice to everyone.

It is situated near my home town. Also, being in an such a beautiful place, you get to see natural scenery which you will definitely love. The staff and faculty are friendly, but strict. You aren't allowed to roam after 7pm. But, the scenes from the terrace are so soothing that you will not go anywhere else. Eventually, if you are lucky, you may see animals like tiger and panther. Being in an remote area, there aren't much places to go. You will end up roaming in the famous Mall Road. All the other necessary things are available in the campus itself. Overall, Jaypee Solan is a nice place to study as well as for witnessing natural beauty. You will definitely not regret coming here.

The students have to be strong, united and firm to make college administration listen to their demands.

It's a great college with a nice placements record. It has a beautiful campus in the mountains and a very peaceful and productive environment. It has an AIRD raking around 125 (approx). It is well rich in both academic and non-academic activities. It's 28km away from Shimla, making it a nice place to study and live by.
