The fee hike is a really eye-catching issue. This year many iits have hiked their fees, In IIT Mandi from my admission semester, the fees were increased from 50k to 70k. We MTech students get an HTRA scholarship (12400 per month) for TA duty.

The course as per isn't expensive it's affordable. In the range of 30-40,000 INR per semester. Besides, we get MHRD scholarship of 12400 INR per month which covers almost all the expenses and the fees.

Admission to IIT Mandi for MTech programs involves the following steps:

Candidates must qualify for the GATE Examination.
After satisfying step one, you should submit an online application through the IIT Mandi admission portal.
