HPTU BCA : Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

HPTU BCA is offered as 3 Years Full Time program. The minimum eligibility criteria for BCA is 10+2 with 50% + HPCET. The total fees for HPTU BCA in 2025 is ₹ 4,160 for the complete course duration.

The minimum eligibility for admission to BCA at HPTU is 10+2 with 50% + HPCET.

All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination in any stream from a Board recognized or established by the Central/State Government through legislation shall be eligible to apply. Further, the candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in the case of the candidate belonging to the SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.

The admission to BCA shall be made based on the merit of HPCET

In addition to B.Tech., the university offers B.Pharmacy in two fields and B.Sc. in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT). Both the courses are of a period of 4 years and B.Sc. HMCT is of 3 years duration. 

For applying to B.Pharm (direct entry) a pass in class 12^th in necessary with main subjects as Physics and Chemistry with at least 45% marks. For B.Pharm. (Lateral Entry), the candidate should have completed B.Pharm. For making an application to B.Sc. HMCT, passing of Class 12^th with 50% marks is mandatory.

Selection

The admission to B. Pharm. degree course shall be made on the basis of merit of HPCET. In case the seats remain vacant after exhausting the merit of HPCET, the remaining seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of 10+2 examination conducted by a recognized Board/University

The admission to B.Pharm. under Lateral Entry Scheme shall be made on the basis of merit of diploma in Pharmacy conducted by H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board. Provided that if seats under lateral entry scheme remain vacant, the same shall be filled up from the candidates who have passed diploma in Pharmacy from any other recognized University/Board.

Merit in 10+2 is required for admission to B.Sc. HMCT and BBA programs.  

For B.Arch. either NATA or the percentage of JEE Main Paper-II (B.Arch/ B.Planning) will be taken into consideration. Merit in class 12^th will also be considered, making it a 50-50 weightage. 

There is 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST students in all the courses.
