M.Sc. Forensic Science is the flagship 2-year full-time postgraduate programme of NFSU, Gandhinagar, and was in fact the very first programme launched by the university when it was established in 2009. Fee Structure

Hostel Fees (Optional, subject to availability - Gandhinagar Campus)

• Caution Money of Rs. 7,500 is refundable at the time of leaving the university, subject to no dues.
• Hostel fees include accommodation charges, electricity, and mess charges (breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner).
• Hostel is optional and subject to availability; priority is given to first-year students and those from outside the state.
• Hostel fees paid once are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• However, in exceptional cases, if a student wishes to leave the hostel within one month from the date of occupation, fees may be refunded proportionately.
• For Tripura Campus, a 15% concession in tuition fee is applicable as per NFSU Office Order No. NFSU/Fee Committee/3530/2025 dated 16/12/2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Scholarship Details

• NFSU institutional scholarships are awarded at the time of admission based on the NFSU merit list prepared from CUET-PG scores.
• For Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, the student's merit rank must be within the first 30 admitted students per program, and family income must not exceed Rs. 8 lakh per annum.
