Likes
- The things I liked are the faculties They put all their efforts by teaching us.
- All the practicals are done in a good manner and regular practicals are held.
Dislikes
- According to the fee structure, who should have had a good infrastructure because we have paid a lot of amount.
- Most of the faculty Are not permanent, so for this reason, some faculty are not Always Aware about the current happenings in the college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
There is 10 semesters in our course 65000 in each semester. There is no caste system for fees every one have to pay same fee for pursuing the course. At fast, we have to pay 75,000 because of security, that means it is 65,000 only, but they take 10,000 more for security in the first semester, and from the second semester onwards, they take 65,000. There is no special scholarship given by the college or any financial help given by the college for the students. There is no merit for any high scoring students regarding their fee.
Likes
- Campus is good and the infrastructure is well maintained
- Engagement with seniors and all is very comfortable, they are easy to approach
Dislikes
- Hostel facility is the major problem , most of them have to take pg outside.
- Sports facilities are not good, we have only badminton and table tennis as indoor games

At the joining period you would have to pay 74,000/- which would include caution fees , 1st sem fees , registration feesand admission fees. Each semester you would have to pay 60,000/-,which could increase if the institute decides to.

- there are many centre of excellence which is good
- infra of the campus is really good and the campus is beautiful

- the seating capacity in the mess is wayy too less
- sometimes some of the ac and water cooler dont work

the fees is varying according to the year in which we are studying. for the first 3 years it is 65000 per semester and for the last 2 years it is 90000 per year, there are other deposits and fees also which accounts for less than 10k per sem

- There are multiple centre of excellence at the college.
- Having different courses expands your knowledge.
Dislikes
- The hostel at the college campus is very small and getting accomodation there is really difficult
- The city of gandhinagar where it is located is really quiet after 8
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
As it is an integrated course the fees for bachelors and masters is different. The fees during the first 3 years is 65000 per semester and during the next 2 years it is 90000 per semester. Security deposit and examination fees are not included.
Likes
- The college is full of opportunity with respect to diversity as people from all over India is part of the college.
- There are various opportunity to attend various seminars and events which might not be happening elsewhere in India.
Dislikes
- The college hostels are having limited seats.
- The fields are unique in itself and with respect to that government jobs are not as much compared to the private sectors so the placement opportunity is highly reduced.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The yearly fees for my course duration was 1,00,000 and other miscallenous fees was amounting for approximately 20,000 per year in which 7500 was refundable and the it has increased for the new academic session by 20% and the scholarship availability is based on the funds allocated by the home ministry as the university is under the MHRA.

- appreciated part is that infrastructure is good and faculty is also good so now no batch is from our course placement record is not in our hand so that thing is unpredictable
- faculty is good till now experienced and well aware about the technology
Dislikes
- right now no campus facility for all student
- not know about the placement in future ?

.We are currently pay on semister base 70k per sem that means 1.4L per year .tution fee is 70k include all the charge excpect hostel and mess .same fees for all cetegories .till now no schlorship for any cetegories

- The infrastructures and the facilities they provide is actually good which is for me is 10/10 and our college faculties are very corporative in their field and all . they are very much professional in their work the effectiveness of the placement
- our college comes under the ministry of home affairs and it is a national importance . which provides an interest and an enthusiasm for being a part of college. Our college is in the under the control of central government . .
Dislikes
- The academic strecture is too rigid this is one of the thing that i hate most in my college and the syllabus is very fast and hectic
- exams are very hectic and schedules are very hectic each semester we have to give back to back exams and the strictness is also very much
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
there is no hike in the tuition fee policy before taking an admission they provide us with a course structure of 5 years. the cost of my education is 1 lakh 30 thousand for 1 year and 1500/- for the exam fee that's it only and 1 lakh rupees for those who have opted for a hostel or pg. reservation candidates get the benefit of a scholarship only.

- Faculties over here are very experienced in their own specialized fields
- The environment of the campus is so refreshing and gives total positive vibes
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
For this course, tuition fees are 65k per semester. Admission process is through NFAT examination which is taken by the university. And based on that we get scholarships. On basis of the merit list, you will be alloted your campus. For bsc course, currently they are having 5 campuses (gandhinagar, delhi, goa, tripura and Dharwad).
Likes
- The campus is really beautiful it has different buildings for different courses well furnished classrooms well maintained laboratories and classrooms beautiful areas to rest after a tiring day
- Some teaching faculties are really good many things are happening around in campus a lot of international exposure to student
Dislikes
- The course has not been signed up in thhe recruiting rules of government labs which has not been taken care of even after repeated notices
- The internship and job opportunity are not as exposed to forensic science student as they are to cyber students
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The course fees is 74000 for the first semester which includes tution fee wifi and other miscellaneous things lile access to library and stuff . For the 2nd semester 66000 and added 1500 exam fees.for the third semester 60000 thousand and last semester 70000
Likes
- NFSU Gandhinagar ampus has the best infrastructure to offer for Students with modern labs in all divisions like cybersecurity, toxicology, psychology, ballistics lab with a firing range and drone lab too.
- NFSU has MoU with Forensic labs and state police which provide training and internships to the students. NFSU is also a training institute for Police, army, and judiciary too. NFSU Gandhinagar has centre of excellence in narcotics division.
Dislikes
- The course is very scattered in bachelor's and includes a lot of different subjects but not in great detail and you do not get the chance to study more about them.
- Currently there are not many jobs related to forensic science the only jobs you can apply after MSC is lab assistant, scientific assistant, Scientific officer , Senior Scientific officer, Director of a lab state or central.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
In 2022 the fees for bsc msc forensic science integrated course was 50000 per semester but now it has increased for the new batch but ours will remain same. The complete cost of doing BSC and Msc from NFSU would be around 11-13 lakhs.If you come under the non creamy layer and your parents yearly salary is below 8 lakhs then you might be eligible for scholarship based on merit. For other courses such as DFIS the fees is much higher around 90 thousand per semester.The fees should have been comparatively low as it is a government institute.
