The best college for BDS in GUJARAT.

Likes

The practical work one can practice on the patients as well on the practice also.
The patient flow which is one of the major positive point
The teaching they offer us and the way they make you learn and understand

Dislikes

Not about the college but about the city , as it is little small so there are less options for socialising
The classrooms are non AC except 2 classrooms

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course ( BACHELORS OF DENTAL SURGERY -BDS ) because I love yhe medical field and especially the oral health, I want to help in improving peoples oral health . The faculty student is kind of perfect and the faculties individually keeps the records of all students personally and teach them accordingly.

In my college dharmsinh Desai University teaching facilities is good
In my college the atmosphere of college is also good

Dislikes

About the examination process of the college
About the day between two exam days there is no gap between two papers
About internal as well as external examination scheme

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teaching method of complete the course is also good so yes there is no doubt that the faculty in my college is just good to cover the all topics in all chapters and yes all of above on given time period

I liked that the campus is huge,teachers are strict, time to time exam is taken

Dislikes

Things i don't like is that nadiad place is not good, no good places to visit

MBBS course is very vast it is impossible to cober full course in span of four years,but all the teachers tries to complete it.Talking about the exams every 3 months formative assessment is taken and after that there is prelims and university exam

I really like how my college encourages a student to study and do extra stuff in each subjects
Faculties are top of the level with one of the best equiped labs. And one of the largest libraray

Dislikes

One of the things I don't like in my college is that it's infrastructure is not the best almost mediocre level.
Another is that there are very less extra curricular activities such as sports extra and there are very less fests in my college

Placement Experience:

From sem 6 students become eligible for campus internships and from sem 7 they become eligible for placements . My college offered almost 100% placement with avg package of 6Lpa and highest of 29 Lpa. Many companies visit my college such as Goldman Sachs ,Infosys , vedanta etc . My plans is to pursue masters by giving Gate examination after Btech.

Likes

College is good. And it is in the most posh area of city.
Faculty has good knowledge and placements are good. Companies based in Ahmedabad comes here every year for 6 months internship

Dislikes

There is nothing to dislike aboit this college. It is the 3rd best college in Gujarat

Placement Experience:

7th semester studemts are eligible for placements. You must have minimum 6 cgpa for eligibilty. Every students can get 6 months internship and after FTE offer. College is really good for placements. Go for it

MBBS at Nadiad

Likes

Good Environment and Best city for study in Gujarat
Good connectivity to railway station and bus station
Infrastructure is good and very helpful for study

Dislikes

Attendance system is very strict and very strict environment
Post graduation seats are not available hopefully add
Parking system is not good for big vehicles

My curriculum is little bit different from rest of other batch due to covid-19.It is very strict curriculum to complete in only 4 year.We have less time to complete full syllabus.It is lengthy journey to complete

Pros and cons

Likes

The faculties are helpful. Lectures are taken on regular basis.
Academics wise it is better than other colleges in matters of teaching and designing of syllabus and schedule.
The schedule is designed in way which will help GATE preparation

Dislikes

There isnt much scope for extra curricular activities
The infrastructure is not upto the mark and very old
Not much connections with other colleges or scope for growth

Placement Experience:

Placements take place in the 7th semester. Many companies visit for the same. Almost all the students who have not opted for higher studies are placed. Average package would be 3.2-4 lakhs per annum. Few companies recruit many students together.

The campus is very huge and beautiful and hexagonal in design
The library is also big and all necessary books are available
The study material for bca is very relavent and helpful for future

The teachers are very strict and they are not helpful at all
Students are fully loaded with the assignments which are to be submitted on daily basis
There are very minimal amount of extra curricular activities

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I was told that the future will be on this basis and the scope of this course is fantastic. The study material provided by this college for this course is completely relavent and felpful for my future. The thing that needs to be improved is the teaching technique, interaction between teachers and students, and revision on regular basis. The time for the exams are more than enough. Exams are not so difficult. Sessionals are taken once in a month.

Reality of DDU

Likes

The response of faculty for a placement and other guide is so well and appreciable
There are 3 mid exams so we prepared well for final exams and exams are tough so we will easily pass the gate exam
There is no ragging and very supportive environment from seniors.

Dislikes

There is no boys hostel in college campus
Very busy schedule in academics so we don't get more time to explore other things.
There are no more sports and cultural events occures.

Placement Experience:

In our college we have 100% palcement.We have average of 6.2 LPA last year for IT branch. Company has own eligibillity criteria for students for CGPA.60-70% company has 7 CGPA criteria. The highest package of last year is 20LPA and lowest 4.2 LPA.most of the students got placed in 5-7 LPA package.20-35 students opted for higher studies every year.I plan to get a decent job after my college.
