At Dharmsinh Desai University, the criteria to clear exams in the subjects with labs is to score 68 marks in all. These marks are a combination of
So, you should score 12 marks in each internal in the case of Engineering Graphics to make a total of 36. So the average is 12 marks for internals. A total of 24 in internals, a minimum of 24 in externals, and a decent attendance record will help you pass. In all, it doesn't matter how much you score in individual exams, in the case of internals all you need is a total of 36 to be on the safer side.
However, in Maths the scenario is a bit different. There are no practicals so you need to score a total of 45 marks instead of 68. So in math, you should score a total of 45 in the internals and 24 in the externals to pass. Here the 45 score score comprises
The total is 43. Here you may pass with grace but to stay on the safer side is better to score 45.
hope this helps you!
Dharmsinh Desai University has remedial examinations for students who fail to clear internal or external examinations. In internal, you need to score at least 36 marks in subjects having practical lab and 45 marks in subjects having no practicals, to pass. If you have the required internal scores, you need to score 18 marks out of 60 in the external examination, to pass.
If you fail in internal or external, you have to take the Remedial examination. If you fail in Remedial, you will get another chance to clear the subject in Re-remedial. If you can’t clear the re-remedial, you will be detained.
Nirma University IT is a better option. The reasons are course curriculum, the teaching methodology used, and faculty. The seniors of the institute are also quite helpful.

It will be better if you go for PDPU for computer science than DDU. One of my friends studied at PDPU and according to him, just like any other college, it also has its fair share of pros and cons.

One of my friends studied in DDU and after gathering some information online, I can give you a proper comparison. Analyzing this you will be able to make your decision.
| Categories | DDU | MSU |
| Course Fee | INR 6.08 lakh | INR 6,000 |
| Highest CTC | 10 LPA | 8 LPA |
| Average CTC | 6 LPA | 3.5 LPA |
| Recruiting Companies | TCS, Infosys, Crest Data Systems, etc. | TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. |
It is suggested that you go for DDU instead of MSU. But finally it is your choice. Choose the one that meets your needs and requirements, as it will be easier to blend in.
There are a lot of differences between the Dharam Singh College which is situated in Nadiad and the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Institute of Technology.
Therefore, it is suggested that you opt for SVNIT rather than Dharmsinh Desai University. As it will provide you better opportunities both in academics and placements.
I have a few friends from DDU Nadiad and according to them, the placement scenario for EC is great. As an Electrical Engineer, you have opportunities to work in various fields. If you are interested in IT, you can join Infosys, TCS, Igate Pattni, Tech Mahindra, Cybage, and other such companies.
If you want to join core companies then you will have the option to join Sibridge, EInfochips, Volancyc, Matrix solutions, KHS, Idea, Masibus, Airtel, etc.
According to the recent placement highlights the average CTC offered at the institute is 4-5 LPA.
I have a few friends from BVM and DDU and based on the reviews that I got from them, I will suggest you choose the former. BVM is better for Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Computer, IT branches. Here are some of the reasons why you should choose BVM.
Overall, compared to DDU, BVM is definitely a better option.
My sister studied computer engineering at DDU. Based on her experience I will recommend you to join DDU. Here are the reasons why you should choose DDU.
So, overall DDU Computer Science will be a great option.
