The total fees for one year is (except the first year ) is - 130,200 Caution money is 4000 Other fees - 3000 per year For sc st it's just 5k per month ( they don't have to pay the tuition fee which is 62500 , college have fees structure like other nits like complete fees remission on for people who's income is below 1 lakh And 2/3 fee remission for income 1 to 5 lakh and rest have to pay the full fee.

When i got admission i paid 28000 for hostel fees in 2023 and institute fees 80000. The institute fees is 74000 and the hostel fees is 37000 now for general category but it keep increasing every year. For sc and st tuition fees is quite very low but hostel fees is same for everyone. Also family annual income is important for categorization in tution fees. Under 8 lakhs annual income, i had to pay 46000 tuition fees for obc. Scholarships are available to everyone on nsp portal.

Visiting the interiors!

Total fees of one year is 1.5 lakhs. Hostel fees for some semester is approx. 37k. Institute provides you with scholarships according to the family income. For below one lakh per annum, tuition fees comes down to 4000. So, only fees to be paid will be hostel fees. Also you may start doing part time freelancing jobs for your own expenses.

Facts about NIT Goa to know

The fee structure is bit much for a normal student but for economically weak or reserved category students the fee structure is quite affordable. The fee structure is seemly better than that of BITS. The additional fees also add up to be bit much but is affordable

The Fees structure will be the same for all students but there are some criteria for scholarships depend on parents income. If income is above 5 lakh then full fees. If between 1 to 5, the fee will be 1/3 of the full fees, and if less than 1 lakh then full institute fees are refundable.

Life At NIT GOA

My fee is 5 lakhs for 4 years which is very affordable for engineering. Although students can get an additional scholarship if they are from reserved classes, and even girls children get some scholarships as per the government
