the course structure is worth the money.there are many camera that costed in lakhs that provide the hand to handel then .it is a golden chance to utilize your time and money.

Dislikes

it is good and worth for money but has very high cost according to the sturcture of central university .compared to private media collages it has connection with other industry directly but not worthy in that term because not offer to the student.
there is more focus no theortical knowledge but that course is more about practical work .no theory is needed to pratice this course.

Fees and Financial Aid:

this collage has many courses some are proffesional or sone non. this course is professional one that 's why it has cost higher than other .this course costed 78 thousands in first year that has security fee of 2000 that will return after the completion of course .then you have to pay 75000 for next year. this is not fixed deposite thing you might have additional expense over it. there are some scholarship provided by JMI.and other related to company like nikon and others.

My Honest Experience with Jamia Millia Islamia - The good and the bad

The fees for two years master's programme is Rs. 6500 per year. Journey as a Jamia student

The fees is very less in comparison to other universities. It's just 7200 per year and other than that u don't have to pay any extra money in that whole year.. there arealso multiple scholarship provided to students on different basis..

Rewiring the stigma about Jamia

The fee paid at the time of admission was 7675. Students are enrolled on the basis of entrance test they attended in which reservation was given to Muslim community. All have paid uniform fees which will be adjusted on the provision of E grants. Also the institution is providing different scholarships like Aajmi Scholarship based on merit. Students can also apply for National Scholarship

Our psychology department is very small and no enough classrooms are there

For the first year I paid 10425, and for the second year I paid 8975. Both these fees includes everything. No other fees. We have two central govt scholarships, one is egrantz and other is NSP for PG students. E grantz amount is 26000 and NSP amount is 3 lakhs. NSP is based on the UG marks.

WHY PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION FROM JAMIA?

Fees for first year is 7425 which includes 1100 as tution fee , 1000 examination fee and 100 admission fee and 500 library caution money . 300 as lab fee and 600 games fee and 3825 as other charges total about 7425 and for second year it is 6900 .. fees for all categories is same .. if you top your class with 1,2,3 rank then you will be awarded scholarships of 2500, 1500 , 700 respectively

Jamia's Ambience

The academic procedure is hectic. You need to be very patient.

The year wise fee is 7675 Rupees. It includes every other charge. The fee structure remains the same for everyone. There are various scholarships offered. And they can all be availed from your student account on My Jamia portal. Hostel fee is total around 30 Thousand yearly, in which you have to pay the rent in advance and the mess fee in two installments.

Jamia : A Revolutionary University

Fees is actually a pocket friendly in our university because this is a government university and they got funded so we don't have burden on our pocket very much we also have library which we can access anytime and can issue the books which we need. Even the university gave students scholarship based on their merit or also based on their talent by some exams

Jamia up close

Courses in Jamia are quite affordable. Only a few courses are expensive although but you can get scholarships for every course. My master's fees was only 7000 for a semester. So, it is evident that studying here is totally affordable. It's way better than private universities in terms of the fee.

The certificate-course admissions at Jamia Millia Islamia for 2025 opened with the general university admission portal from 5 March 2025 and closed on 10 April 2025, with a further extension till 13 April 2025

No, JMI Univesity does not offer lateral admission to its B.Tech courses. Admission to the B.Tech courses of this university is based on the merit of JEE Main and counseling.
