Jamia internships are very helpful

Fees and Financial Aid:

This university is very good for those students who did not get admission to iit and top nits . This college better than tier 2 and tier 3 nits. The fees for core branches like CS, ECE, Electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and civil Engineering is 19250 for first year which include everything except hostel fee after that from second year is 16500 . Some new engineering course also launched like CSDS, Electronics and VLSI and Electrical with computer whose fee is approximately 150000 The strength in each branch is 80 . Jamia provide various types of scholarship such as merit cum mean scholarship and AAJMI Scholarship which is a interview based scholarship whose amount is approx 5000 to 6000 rupees. the fee is very minimal but 1 thing that i didn't like is it is very tough to get a hostel in 1st year but if you are from a place which is 1000 km away from the location of college hope so you will get the hostel. The location is best because it is very closer to noida its an urban area very beautiful campus and you will learn in very good environment its an central university whose ranking in word is 400-500

Jamia ke bare mein

My yearly fees is 19225. My category is general ews. But there was no reservation for me in jamia millia islamia university. I had paid 19225 for one year fees. Its my first semester. For self finance friends they have the fees 85000+ but i don't know the complete. And it is for first semester only. There is no scholarship awarded to students. There is scholarship for first, second and third position securing children.

As a Central University, the courses are highly cost-effective and provide great value for money.

Dislikes

The syllabus is not up to date with what is needed for the current situation.

When I have taken the Admission last year the fee for 1st year was 16625rs and now am iam in 2nd year in which the fee reduces to 13325rs ( as it some charges only have to pay in first year only). But from now the 1st year feec increased a bit to become 19625rs. Jamia provides scholarship for the top 3 higest SPI student after every year.

The yearly fees in the university in 2024 is 16150 but next three years fees is decreasing to 13825 but in different branched sone many less or more are there like 100-200. In the year 2025 the fees increasing to approximately 19000.

B.Tech from jmi is value for money, best option for middle class

Girls to boys ration is good because it is a central university, it offers various courses so it is good

Old curriculum and again and again exams.

latest course fee structure 16350 1st year fee 13550 2nd year fee 13800 3rd year fee 13500 4th year fee ( expecting) this is in including tuition fee, caution fee, registration fee, admission fee, development fee, lab fee extra now hostel fee 38550 per year . scholarships available are AAJMI Scholarship, APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship etc

An Engineering student perspective about JMI

ROI - You can get an average package of 5.5 lpa by spending only 64k for your degree.

First year fee - 16150 Final year fee - 13815 So the fee decreases as we move from first year to final year. Detailed structure of fee (First year ):- Tuition fee - 2200 Admission fee - 200 Examination fee - 1000 Lab Caution fee - 200 Library Caution fee - 400 Library/Lab fee - 400 Game fee - 400 Curriculum activities - 0 Other charges - 10950 Total - 16150 Idk the detailed fee structure of NRI but it's approx 2.5 lakh per year. Some scholarship opportunities are PM-USPY and many more.

The Overview of Life a Jamia's Life

In first year the fees will be 16550, for 2nd year it will be 13550, for 3rd year it will be 14800 and for 4th year it will be 14550 approx. Tution fee = 2200, Examination fee = 1000, Lab caution fee = 200, Library/Lab fee = 800, Games fee = 600 and others. For other non self financed courses the 1st and 2nd year fees were same but the third year fees is 13550. There is a Alumina Association scholarship.

Fees paid for 1st year is 16500 and after that for every year its 13500 . And there are many scholarships programme like provate as well as goverments schemes .Best part of this university is low fees and good placement.

The GOOD BAD and UGLY of JAMIA

I have paid 16k for first year. Includes tuition fees,exam fees, lab, library fees. Hostel fees is 30k for 6 months which includes mess fees also. For self finance course fees is 1.5 Lakh. For financial aid you can always avail NSP (if eligible). There also Alumini association scholarship given to the students.

The certificate-course admissions at Jamia Millia Islamia for 2025 opened with the general university admission portal from 5 March 2025 and closed on 10 April 2025, with a further extension till 13 April 2025

No, JMI Univesity does not offer lateral admission to its B.Tech courses. Admission to the B.Tech courses of this university is based on the merit of JEE Main and counseling.
