It helps in availing various types of scholarships that can help students financially
The best thing about pharmacy department is that they have very good teachers and faculty members . they are highly educated and very experienced.
Their placement is good because 60% of students got placed in good companies like tcs, and amazon, but their placement eligibility is a very tough process because colleges give good cgpa marks, then you change to give interviews on campus.

Dislikes

Financial aid is not for the general student as i also wanted that because of financial crisis but nothing happened.
Scholarship is next to impossible to achieve as the process is very difficult.
Placement rate is very low and does not provide any aid .

College campus is good in comparison to other college we have greenery in our college .
our college have mosque inside campus it is good for us

jamia hamdard: A blend of academic excellence and campus serenity - honest review

jamia hamdard ensure a ragging free safe and supportive environment, fostering respect and growth
jamia hamdard has supportive seniors who create a welcoming, ragging free environment.
it has good infrastructure with modern labs, a well stocked library and many canteens

Dislikes

strict attendance policy, some may find it rigid
limited campus events, while academics are strong, more cultural and tech fest could enhance students engagement

Placement Experience:

from my seniors i have heared its a tier 3 college dont expect for placements and all, well its somewhat true at the end its your skills that matters to get placement etc. rather than depending on the college you must work hard on your own skill to crack any placement/job (just the matter of hardwork and luck). average package was of 4lakh per annum. we'll my plans after getting the degree is to study more and persure PHD, i might do some freelancing i am not sure currently neither sure of working soon.

I like the faculty they are very helpful and cooperative
The infrastructure of the university is quite good
Talking about placement is average as compared to other colleges is good

Dislikes

Surrounding is polluted and not good for girls
Talking about food is very unhealthy for everyone
And rest everything is fine I enjoy my time

Placement Experience:

Talking about the placement as it's a semi government college it has average placement in my course is 12 lakhs per Anum and talking about highest package was 53lakhs which is good and it also provides college placement

The college is good enough the faculty is very best.
Campus infrastructure and placement is very good
The way of teaching is perfect teachers are very kind to students.

Dislikes

Not many of them are selected by the campus after bachelors degree
The racism is still there with lots of focus on student
Poor hygineic food with lots of bad odour smell

I choose this college because of the teachers healthy interaction with students and the enviroment in which u can groomed yourself to get better everyday. The canteen is still the one area of concern which i liked to see the improvement bad foods odour smell,unhygine unhealthy foods.The pattern of teaching is another concern teachers should change. Exam will held after the gap of every 11 months

biochemistry faculty is very nice and helpful
anatomy faculty is also very helpful and understanding
the associated hospital has good patient flow

university campus is big but college campus is very small

MBBS is basically a course that needs consistent efforts. it also sometimes make a student feel like it is hampering their personal lives but we have to balance our personal life with studies so that it doesnot make us feel to leave the course

the overall college is nice it is good for people who wants to do mbbs pharmacy as it is the top notch quality if jamia hamdard campus , btech is average like a third tier college shuould be , btech bca mca all these fields in hamdard are avg and one
the hostels are good kinda mid and average as the histel fees is 160000 for an year which is quite high
you will find both good and bad people here it depends on you whom you decide to roam with as you become the average of your friend group so choose it wisely

the fees is much higher for a third grade college it really depends alothough in which course you are as other courses like pharmacy and mbbs are good
with the high fees paid the infrastructure lacks some here and there places the hostel also lack in infrastructure
in btech no teacher follows the strictly time table scheduled which comes from the dean office

The campus is beautiful and the crowd seems decent
Science courses have amazing facilities for research purposes
The faculty is great and understanding, regular internship opportunities provided

The washrooms are a bit unhygenic even in the new buildings

The college placements depends upon the course. Mine is biotech hence my opportunities are widely for further research opportunities in India and abroad. But as for engineering the placements are great

Life at Jamia Hamdard University as a Pharmacy student

Campus is really nice and big with so much greenery with good amenities and good canteens to chill with your friends at break time
Teachers are extremely knowledgeable with good students interaction and great teaching methods
The course curriculum is divided into 8 semesters including theory classes and practical

Dislikes

There curriculum is quite hasty with exams almost every month
Toilets are not well maintained , most of the time there is no proper water supply
No ac classes are also available which makes it really difficult to concentrate in class or exams

I have great interest in the medicine world ,so it is ideal for you to chose this course if you have the same interest. The curruculum includes regular practical classes to prepare us for the real world with good practical knowledge The curriculum can be improved with well equipped and good conditions of the lab. There are 8 semesters with 2 sessional exams per semester and 1 improvement exam which makes you busy whole semester
