The Highest and Average Packages for the MBA (IB) batch stood at INR 6 LPA and INR 2.73 LPA, respectively, while for the MBA (BA) batch, it was INR 4 LPA and INR 1.41 LPA, respectively. The placements of IIFT DELHI are at par with some of the old IIM's like Lucknow, Indore, Kozhikode. Iift is beast when it comes to finance and marketing. Every major international bank and every hedge fund visit the campus for recruitment. Also IIFT caters to some trade companies that only recruit from this college and don't visit any other campus in India. Last year 102 companies visited the campus , the median package was around 26 lakhs and average was around 27 lakhs. Highest package stood at 85 lakhs. And 100 percent placement was achieved. I'll be most probably going for working in a bank or a hedge fund after the degree

Our college placements are wonderful. The company that visits campus are JP morgan, goldman sachs, HSBC, godrej etc, There are around 120 recruiters that visits the campus. The placements are pooled with Delhi campus. The median is 25 lakhs per annum and the average stood at 27.3 lakh per annum. The highest domestic package stood at 75.6 lakhs while highest international stood at 85.4 lakhs.

The summer internship process starts as soon as after 1 month the student joins the college and the college provides good internship opportunities. It offers 100% placements in summer internships and final placements. The placement season witnessed the participation of numerous renowned companies like Amazon, JPMC, Deloitte, Microsoft, ITC, Reckkit, etc. The highest placement for international role is 84 LPA and for domestic roles is 75 LPA. The average and median placement is 29.10 LPA and 26.5 LPA. My plan after the degree is to secure a good placement in a renowned comapny in the finance domain.

Companies like Coca-Cola, P&G,HUL, Accenture Stratergy, Microsoft,TAS, EY, Mckinsey, Deloitte, Eli-lily, Cipla, Titan, ETG,Gail, Olam, Mondlez, HCCB, etc. come for recruitment and the highest salary is offered by ETG 84 Lakhs,the average placement stands at 29,10,000 and mean at 26,86,000. 108 Recruiters visited campus last year and 17+ international offers were made. 100% placement is ensured by the college. I'm planning to have a career in consulting or marketing after my mba degree.

Which area do you want to specialize in?
Are you included towards functional level clarity (Operations, Finance, Marketing, Tech) or granular level clarity (FMCG marketing/Digital e-commerce marketing/Sales or Product Management/Project Management or General Management)

If the answer to it is yes, then analyze the reports of these institutes to find where each one of them stands. Looking at average CTC is not the right way and is in fact misleading.

Other things you should consider before choosing a B School are

The admission procedure and the level of difficulty of entrance exams if these colleges
The practicality and relevance of the curriculum as per the recent industrial trends
The profiles of your batchmates and their diversity The size and brand of the alumni base and the opportunities you will be availing through them

When you are investing a huge amount of money it is only right to expect a greater monetary benefit and a better lifestyle. So I have mentioned some techniques that will help you land a package of 30 LPA specifically in the field of marketing post-MBA from IIM ABC, FMS, MDI, SPJIMR, and IIFT.

The first thing you need to do is lower your expectations as no marketing placements offer a package higher than 25 LPA. These highest offers are made by top firms like Reckitt Benckiser, HUL, P&G, and Asian Paints.
You need to figure out what you really are after, a good marketing role or a high-paying job. If you are after the latter I suggest you go for big consulting firms like Mc Kinsey, BCG, or investment banks that offer 30+ LPA.
But if it is the marketing role you are after, then make sure your resume reflects your marketing enthusiasm. This will further increase your chances of selection.
Performing well in the competitions conducted by your desired company is another way to get a high-paying job.
If the Final Placements are your last resort then make sure you have a stable and excellent CGPA. Many companies consider this factor while shortlisting.

These points will help you get your dream job but cannot necessarily guarantee it. It all ultimately depends on your efforts and obviously your luck.
