The study halls and labs are fitted with the latest facilities. Enough facilities like Air/Rail/Road transport to reach Patna from various locations of the country. 1st year students are allotted a single hostel, with 3 students in one room. Everyone is friendly .all professors are helpful.very impactful teaching and very good experience and overall development.good coding environment and healthy competition among students.overall very knowledgeable and helpful faculty.
Pleacement of the college is going very nice many good company like google yahoo microsoft twitter comming for take placement and avg package of the electrical engineering students is 1200000,and cse students avg package is 1500000
Fee can vary between 4500 per semester to 60000 per semester .scholarship like minority-1,gen-1, sc-1, ... are provided to help students to complete there 4 year course without feeling financial burden

Dislikes

The placement for 2020-24 batch was not too nice like previous year .
Due to very low area ,we are somewhat feel problematic when have to organise any event at bigger level.
There will be no scholarship provided by any government site .about the placement is not good enough, especially for our branch the placement is too low and who have they got it a very low salary .

Faculties and other staff is too helpful and well qualified
Short and small campus everything is too close not too much you have to walk
Hostel availability for each and every student

Dislikes

Boys is outside the campus so you have to walk almost 800 mtrs
Not availability of all sports and their respective grounds
Night life is too boring everyone has to go hostel at 9:00 pm

Architecture life in NIT Patna

Likes

I like the fact that my college is situated just along the Ganga river.
Evenings are full of social interactions.
I like the hostels and its vibe is next level.

Dislikes

I dislike the old infrastructure of the college.
I didike the traditional old methods of theoretical teachings.
I dislike the hostel is outside the main campus.

Placement Experience:

In architecture the are very less college placements. In my college slowly reputed firms have started to come to recruit like Pinnacle. While in B tech placements are very good. Average package being 13 LPA, while last year's highest being 2 cr.

How to survive in nit patna

Likes

Campus is not so big so you don't have to struggle to move.
Facilities are really good in their respected place
Club is really interesting and entertaining

Dislikes

Too much assignment which is really don't like
Very few company for placement in architecture
Average package of placement is also low

Architecture student have not much placement opportunities. And very few campus placement is available not much companies are available in our department but not same with other departments, mostly student are applied for higher studies.

Likes

I liked the campus life, although the campus is a bit small it allows us to get familiar with people well and develop binds of friendship.
I liked the workshops and opportutnits provided by the college and the department for the students to learn and develop skills.
Lastly, the clubs are quite active and there are lot of fun events from the drama club, the art and literary club, etc

Dislikes

I dislike the arrangements in the hostel, there is not enough facilities and space to accomodate the number fo students.
The is little to no official placements for B.Arch provided by the college.
The is still a lot of room for improvement in the department as compared to the other colleges

Placement Experience:

In the course of Architecture, there is little to no placements, but there are internships you can do after you learn the skills required. There are a lot of opportunities for internships in this course and provides enough opportunities and workshops for you to develop your skills while the degree is ongoing.

The environment of the college is great not as i expected.
The seniors are very friendly and loving.
The faculty of our department are excellent.

Dislikes

The campus is too small . It's just opposite of my imagination.
because of some seniors we have to face some trouble.

After 8 semester we are eligible for the placement in our college. If someone not get placed then are many options other than that. There are internships where they can take help from their senior. After your degree is completed then you can built your own business.

Locality of college- near Ganga River and its infrastructure
Placements facility is pretty decent in last few years and helping college to increase its ranking in NIRF ranking.
Have different kiosks, canteen and cafeteria inside the campus which offers food and drinks of good quality.

Dislikes

Campus area should be larger than its current size, it feels like compact campus, but a good and green campus overall.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are very good and many famous companies visit here to give jobs to students. The average package for B.Tech is increased in the last 1-2 years as many students got placements offers of more than 1 crore rupees. Nearly 90-100% is the percentage of placements for computer science, electric and electronics engineering branch students. Here placements for B. Arch students are average as not many companies offer jobs to architecture students, so the architecture students have to find jobs outside the college or opt for higher studies. Avg is 5-10 lacs of the package for architecture students.
