- Very expensive and far from my home being a handicapped person it is very far from my house and they don't have assistance for handicapped persons

I want to learn English because in this modern world English is one of the most important thing to learn without English job opportunities is very less so that's the reason I choose this course the course will be very beneficial for me and my colleagues.

- The other department teacher are not good to us
- No music allowed in farewell party and no speaker allowed in rallies

English honours I choose this subject because I like to study English as there were stories and novels etc. the curriculum do not prepare us well for the real world They can show us the visuals and teach us so that we can remember things
Likes
- The environment is good for taking a break from your studies and relaxing with vegetative ambience making it a preferable environment
- The cultural background is good and is very active with facilitating other skills and personality development of the students
Dislikes
- Discipline is a little loosened so sometimes it becomes psychologically difficult to bring yourself to study.
- Homework and weekly assignments is a missing, if atleast there are timely assignments, it keeps students in check
Course Curriculum Overview:
So i took english and it does help you understand the contemporary drift in the language itself and encompasses various other subjects like history and other related areas . The exams are fine just that there's little active study like arrangement of weekly/ monthly assignments which helps in the long run. There should be more assignments and research homework that needs to be put on the curriculum. Also i think grammar is a thing that's pretty much neglected like anything. If syllabus doesn't contain ' grammar' then i think it is in the duty of the faculty to introduce the things as a side-study which further helps the student in practical life.

- Classes without a break. When the teacher teaches with both writing and explaining the chapter not only lecture

- Need to wait for 2hrs for just one class it made me bored and tired can't able to listen the lecture

I'm happy to choose this course bachelor of arts English. Because i like to know the all over world's story and their culture and tradition. I like to heard about the poet and living style of the early time.

- Faculties are very good and supportive. They pay personal attention to each student and their problems.
Dislikes
- Seniors and union of college are too rude.
Course Curriculum Overview:
English has always been the subject that I was passionate about and thus I chose to pursue it. I never regretted pursuing a BA in English Literature at Dispur College as the faculty of the college made all the concepts very easy for me to understand.
Likes
- The faculties of the English department are excellent. Especially Shrutimala mam and Tashrina mam. They have the ability to keep the whole class into their attention for the entire period.
- The college location is very convenient plus Dighalipukhuri park is an extra bonus for the bonus.
Dislikes
- College common bathroom needs daily cleaning. Also no running water as well.
- The college infrastructure is not upto the mark. Need furnishing here snd there.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The content mentioned in the course is aligned with the real-world application if you are interested in the teaching profession. Also, the exams could be quite a pressure because the evaluations done by certain teachers are not generous I feel. The course curriculum is completed on time. So in that case it gets demotivating.

- Campus was so independent and the environment is also so calm and neat dresscore isn't necessary so we can wear anything apart from uniform and also the teachers were understanding and helped us in every aspect
Dislikes
- Canteen was the one thing i recommend to upgrade and also the sports events and other curricular activities should be added

I opted for english honours and currently I'll be giving my first government exam im honoured that this college taught me some reward taking things which will definitely help me in my upcoming preperation.
Likes
- The college has a basketball court. The canteen and library is good. There are 2 floors of library and two canteens.It is a girls college
- College fest is held every year. Classes are conducted properly.classes like taekondo and variety ofcourses are conducted
Dislikes
- Not enough competitions or activities.Infrastructure isn't that great, buildings are old , some fans don't work.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The English honours under guwahati university covers English literature around the world in the 6 semesters. the first 4 semesters and in the first to semesters there is EVs and in the 3 Rd and 4th there is skill enchantment paper. Each semester is of 6 months but the semesters end quickly with only 2-3 months of classes.

- Nice college for functions and programs, sports plus extra curricular activities

- Infrastructure, some places need improvement
- Toilets are not good it stinks and lacks cleanliness

There were many curriculum in our college but due to few curriculums some students were not getting proper chance of performance . So number of curricular activities must be increased in such institution
