Indian Applicants 

• The applicants have to be an Indian national and complete 10+2 (K12) level of education with PCM as main subjects. 
• They are also required to satisfy the domicile of A.P. or ‘local resident’ requirement.

JNAFAU B.Arch Course Highlights

B.Arch course is 5 years long and is offered across 11 affiliated colleges of JNAFAU. The other details are:

• Highest number of seats (i.e. 120 seats) are available at Sri Venkateswara College of Architecture, Hyderabad as per CoA approval.
• Total fee for B.Arch course varies between INR 65,000 to INR 97,000 per annum.
• More than 90% of the students get internship opportunities each year.
• Placements are between 30-40% in top companies like DLF. The highest CTC varies from INR 4 - 5 LPA. 
• There are 07 specializations offered in B.Arch. They are as follows:

JNAFAU B.Arch Application Process

In order to participate in Counselling conducted for B.Arch Admission in Telangana, applicants have to follow the steps for applying online:

• Applicants whose names reflect in SAR have to register for counselling on https://barchadm.tsche.ac.in/.
• They must complete the first step for generating login id and password.
• With the credentials applicants can fill in their basic information.
• The second step includes uploading of documents and certificates.
  • Recent photograph
  • Signature 
  • NATA score card
  • JEE Main score card (if required)
• Finally, the applicants will have to give details of their academic background (class VI to XII), NATA/ JEE Main score details and domicile proofs.
• Upon submitting these details, applicants will have to pay the requisite fee.

As per the admission criteria, applicants must fulfil the following requirements:

• Applicants should have passed 10+2, and pursued any stream in +2 (K12). 
• Should be an Indian citizen, and should fulfil the criteria of being a ‘local’ residing in Andhra Pradesh.
• Also applicants have to qualify the FADEE exam conducted by JNAFAU. It is conducted for both BFA and B.Des courses.

JNAFAU Interior Designing Entrance Exam

The entrance exam for B.Des is different from the BFA entrance exam. The exam is a mix of both objective and descriptive type questions. The paper consists of the following topics:

JNAFAU sets the entrance exam for B.Des with a mix of both modern and abstract art. In order to get admission to B.Des, applicants should score 180/200. An admission list is generated by combining scores in FADEE and class XII.

JNAFAU BFA Entrance Exam

Last year, JNAFAU BFA entrance exam was conducted in the 1st week of November. It is of 100 marks and has MCQ, descriptive and illustration type questions. BFA is usually scheduled for two days: 

• One day is for Applied Art, Painting & Sculpture applicants. Entrance is common and same for these three specializations.
• Second day is exclusively for Photography. 
• Applicants applying for Applied Art, Painting, Sculpture and Animation. have to appear for Paper A, B & C. 
• Applicants applying for Photography will have to sit for Paper D and E.

JNAFAU BFA Entrance Exam Model Papers

The model entrance exam papers are given below specialization wise:

• BFA in Applied Art, Painting & Sculpture
• BFA in Photography

Admission criteria for B.Tech at JNAFAU is as follows:

• Applicants must have studied 10+2 from a recognized Board with PCM as core subjects. 
• Also they must qualify for the TS EAMCET exam to be called for the counselling round. 

JNAFAU B.Tech Course Highlights:

• This is a 4 year, full time, self-financed course offered at JNAFAU.
• Admissions usually begin in the month of August each year and the fee is INR 50,000 p.a. Check: JNAFAU B.Tech Fee.
• There are 160 seats offered only at Aurora’s Design Academy, Hyderabad.
• Moreover, there are 03 main specializations for applicants to choose from. They are:
  • Digital Techniques for Design and Planning: 60 seats
  • Planning: 40 seats
  • Facilities and Services Planning: 60 seats 
• Applications are accepted commonly through TS EAMCET portal only.

Admission criteria for the following courses are as follows:

M.Tech: Applicants must have B.Arch / B.Tech (Civil) / Masters in Economics or Geography, from a recognized university.

M.Arch: Candidates should have completed B.Arch from a recognized university, to be eligible to apply for admission.

Selection Criteria is common for both the courses:

• The above given degree holders can apply for the PGECET exam.
• Upon qualifying the entrance exam, students will be called for the Counselling round.
• Colleges affiliated to JNAFAU would offer admission based on Counselling.

JNAFAU M.Tech & M.Arch Course Details:

• Both M.Tech and M.Arch courses are 2 years long and are full time.
• Admission commences from August or September each year for these courses.
• There are 40 seats for M.Arch and 25 seats for M.Tech.

  • M.Tech: Planning

MFA course at JNAFAU is offered both full time and part time. There are 56 seats for MFA admission. JNAFAU MFA Fee is INR 56,000 p.a. There are various specializations available. They are:

Regular MFA Specializations:

• Applied Art & Visual Communication: 20 seats
• Photography & Media Communication: 15 seats
• Painting & Visual Communication: 15 seats
• Sculpture: 6 seats

Part time MFA Specializations:

• Applied Art & Visual Communication: 15 seats
• Photography & Media Communication: 15 seats

JNAFAU MFA Admission Criteria

• Applicants who have studied three years BFA in the corresponding specialization, are eligible for admission.
• The selection would depend upon the applicant’s entrance scores. The entrance is conducted by JNAFAU. 
• Shortlisted candidates would also be called for an interview.

JNAFAU MFA Entrance Details

The following criteria needs to be fulfilled in order to be selected for the choice of specialization:

• There is a bifurcation of 30 marks questions for MCQs (subject specific) and 50 marks for 1 question in practical exam.
• Total duration of the entrance exam is 3 hours and 45 minutes.

This is a 4 year long programme, offering only one specialization - Applied Art. JNAFAU Phd Fee is INR 20,000 p.a. 

Admission Criteria:

• Applicants must hold an MFA degree in Applied Arts with at least 55% aggregate in order to apply for admissions.
• Admission selections are based on entrance scores followed by an interview.
• Entrances conducted at national level are also accepted like - UGC-NET / JRF.

JNAFAU Online Application

Applicants have to apply online if they wish to apply for admission to JNAFAU courses. The courses which require national level entrance exams accept common applications. While those who would appear for the FADEE or JNAFAU entrance exams will have to apply through JNAFAU website. The following instructions for submitting applications are as follows:

• Log on to the official website of JNAFAU at https://www.jnafau.ac.in/.
• Click on apply and register for credentials generation.
• Register using a valid email id and create a password.
• Upon receiving credentials, log in to access the application.
• Fill in the details with course choices.
• Attach relevant documents and pictures of the portfolio.
• Pay the requisite fee, check all details and submit the application.

• Name & Date of Birth (from 10th Class Memo or Equivalent Certificate) 
• Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC) issued by MRO
