GITAM Visakhapatnam Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

As the course was very beneficiary and the course was in demand and I would love to do this course. As they will prepare you for real-world applications as there were verbal ability and quantitative skills in college. Sometimes the faculty tries to explain things but we can't understand. Each semester has a gap of four to five months and the exams will be conducted random days and the exam's difficulty level is moderate.

Unfortunately 2024 has been the lowest in placements because of the downfall in Software industry . Very low people have secured jobs in placements while others are struggling to comepete for lesser no of positions. But our college made all the efforts to bring as many companies as possible

Campus placements are offered. Placements in many good hospitals can be offered depending upon our mark. Even if we didn't score enough marks we get placed on Gimsr hospital which provides a starting package of 15k and stay in gitam residence with cheap expenses.

First science students there is no placement but the bite about but the joining time they will say they will say there also lot of offers and we can give 40000 per month the placement salary but that is not not correct at all as a biotechnology student official art of issues with this there is no placements and there is no any reporters in this college

Placements for biotechnology are very low if you are really interested in placements, pls don't opt for this course or college because for graduation 1 lakh is very high know that's why. I want to go for an Msc in computational biology.

Now the course so it does not depend on the total marks and 70 marks are the, internals and 30 marks are for the external so we had to run the class for getting a good marks and pray in the overall CGPA.

From seventh semester the students are eligible for placements but they will train students from starting of the day. From fifth sem they keep more focus on students Many companies have arrived gitam like tcs, wipro, Amazon etc

There are very much less companies visiting our college which also selects only one student from particular course. The average package was 2lakh per year and also there is a need for us to complete higher studies.

There is no much companies visit our campus for bsc biotechnology. But there is a need for us to complete MSc which provide more oppurtunities to us and have good career in pharma companies. As only bachelors is not sufficient for ur future so many of the bsc students did not attend any placements.

The curriculum is designed in a such a way that we ourselves need to choose the subjects for the semester and accordingly, we can choose our liked faculty as well. The course timings in a day basis, weekly basis and semester basis is also described prior. The course which i have choosen not only helps me but as it's computer science, there's a lot more need of this to our developing country as well through which we build applications; new data structures, different technology of new scenario as well. The improvement needed area would be having early industrial training. The frequency of course is very reliable for exams as we have much time gap planned semester and there might be a difficulty level of 20% approx as it's a bit tough to cover all subjects.
