The eligibility for applying for the course is a minimum of 50% in 12th standard and they are allowing admission from 4 states that are Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamilnadu and rarely from Kerala, The admission process is online and there is no entrance exam and the admission is purely on the basis of how many seats they are offering and there is no application fee and application can be seen in www. Dravidian university.ac. and on the basis of merit, they are accepting applications from the candidates online but after the closing of tentative dates and still seats are not filled they also conduct admission offline. They also maintain a strict certificate verification process.
Application for entrance examination for admission to the various courses can be submitted to the university office. A separate application is required for each course. Candidates are required to submit the prescribed entrance examination fees of INR 350 (for General/ BC Candidates) and INR 250 (for SC/ST/Differently Abled candidates) in the form of Demand Draft (DD) to the university office.
The students get admission on the marks achieved in their pre-degree course. 10% of the seats are reserved for Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu students. This university also imparts education through distance learning. Shortlisted students are invited for the counseling process, which more or less includes the document verification process.
At postgraduate level, the university offers various courses under several specializations. For admission to Dravidian University at postgraduate level, the candidates are required to appear in an entrance exam, Dravidian University Common Entrance Test (DUCET), conducted by the university and then give the GD and PI.
After completing my schooling, as soon as board's results were declared, I applied in the dravidian university and fortunately got admission in the college on merit basis. The session began soon after the admission procedures and formalities were done.
The admission in BBA is simple the student should be from commerce stream along with he/she has 50% of marks to crack a seat in the university. The college runs scholarship programs for the students who have a great academic record.
The admission in MBA is followed by the entrance examination APICET to enroll in the MBA. The students who have cleared can further visit the college for counseling sessions and then complete the admission process.
The application form is to be filled online/offline depending upon your comfort. They give more preference to the students who had physics, chemistry and biology in the 12th standard. It is a simple procedure to get enrolled.
It selects on the basis of 12th standard marks. The admission procedure is very simple. We need to fill the application form and submit all the necessary documents along with it. Then the university grants the admission.
I got admitted into this college purely on the basis of merit ie purely on the basis of my scores in the 12th exams. The college cutoff goes quite high like it goes around 85% in the last merit list and then it stops.
