The faculty was good and responsible, easy available of references and easy understanding, well professionalized lectures
The opportunity for scholarships and placements is also top-class at andhra university.
My experience in my college was pretty good.they have good faculty and facilities in the classroom and the classroom and washroom are kept clean .they provide labs for physics and chemistry,and also they celebrate annual fests and farewells and sports

Dislikes

The faculty here are very much experienced and well known about the subject but the prblm here is that they just teach us about the subject and go but no one will let you ask if you understand it or not.
Nothing much but there will be disparities between students and it is difficult to get seat in wished group
I dislike the college b?cause they is only some placement for the course

Review of ANITS

Likes

The faculty and their guidance for the future of the students.
The curriculum is way too good compared to other colleges.
Way better and ahead of traditional system of college management

The college needs to be really vast for the number of students it is accumulated with, the campus is small.

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.

It's approved my Aicte and Andhra University affiliation recently our college received Naac A for automation
My college recently Inograted to Autonomous College so we have best teaching and supportive faculty in our college
In every Saturday they will conduct an guest lectures from experience expertise from companies for our career guidance

Dislikes

Infrastructure are not bad but they should some changes in class rooms
Faculty shortage in same departments and same we don't have some student club's or commites in our college
More then these I don't have any dislikes on my college

Placement Experience:

.Nearly 3rd year completed students are eligible for compus placements . Tata Motors, kia, Royal Enfield, and some BPOs and MNS . Our average package was nearly 300000-400000 and highest package was 800000. . Nearly 75 percent of students can place according to there skills and CGPA . I taking data analysis course I am planing for it to achieve a job in next 1 year

Likes

The faculty is so friendly,they are explaining the topics deep,every professor is well experienced
I like the library,so many people can't afford to buy books in engineering so they have a big library it has many books
Labs and classrooms are well maintained .

Dislikes

Actually this not dislike, the university is so big that we can't run for every class to attend 😅
The system in psnr lab are well maintained but keyboard and mouse are not working sometimes
I reception we should wait patiently,they staff is slow

I had a intrest to join in computer science and engineering course,the university prepares us for real world problems they are very good in it,i request the university to improve systems in computer lab,there no special exams for us,the only exams are only mid, semester, labs etc we love the exam structure

i like the colleges surroundings as well as the colleges boundries with strict security, the canteen areas, the library maintenance
i love making new people, to attach with them,, for me i attracted to many people in my college and interacted with them
i love our classes, av rooms, labs, the canteen which was so affordable to eat anything,

Dislikes

i dont like the washrooms which are maintained very bad, i dont like the roads at rainy time
i dont like the attendence system that makes the students fear about that
many of the students who attends thw class is only for attendance became the college made the students like that way

Placement Experience:

the placements are also plays a mojor role in a student life, coming to our college the placements are quite good as compared with other colleges,,if we study better in academics with the skill they taught us it is easier. to get placed in some companies, the main thing is to learn some skills perfectly, there is a.another good point in our college is all. the core students are placed easily in the jobs compared to non core branches, there are. different companies that visit our college like, MEIL, WIPRO, TECH MAHINDRA, INFOSYS, HYUNDAI, TATA, PINACLE ETC. the highest package is 24 lpa and least package is 3 lpa, more than 75 % students are getting placed easily from the college placement selections,my plan is to get placed in best company that is relaible and to get better hike in our company and develop in the company,, and the eligibility for campus placements in our college is 3'1

great learning environment with good placement opportunities in campus life

Likes

teaching is very good here they clear the concepts very smoothly and quickly
library has number of books like thousands of books are provided
classrooms and canteens are very neat and clean.

Dislikes

sometimes washrooms doesn't contain water
system in lab are always under repair in many labs
only focuses on studies rather than other activities

eligibility: students usually become eligible for campus placement from the 4th year in last semester comapnies like tcs,infosys,wipro visit in our college highest package is 11LPA lowest package is 5 LPA average package is 7LPA aroung 70 % of students were placed in placements

It is good and peace environment and greenary for the students and canteen facility for both available foods which are tiffin at morning and lunch at the afternoon for the students and the faculty members
Good infrastructure development and good knowledgeable lab incharges who share their knowledge to the students with practical method and also teaches the experiments at the well developed Laboratories
The college is greenary at surroundings and also supports the students who are interested in the sports and also conducted the selection meet for the students who are interested in their respected sports

Dislikes

College environment greenary and clean but the bathrooms are not good , they doesn't maintained the bathrooms in the well manner so it effects the students in the college who are going to the bathrooms for use
They stopped the late comers infront of the college with hot and humid conditions who are coming from the long distance, lack of transporting facility and college is placed some far distance to the road
The other disliked thing is that they mentioned half day absent to students who are late and absent in the early first period, which it effects the students attendance and also leads to pay condonation to the students

Placement Experience:

The 3rd year 3.2 semester students are eligible for the campus placements 4 th year students also become eligible for the placements The visited companies are DR reddys and kiamotors and amazon and mobis india private limited etc are companies visited and many offers are made The highest package as per company and profiles offered are Amazon is one offer highest package per annum 12 lakh per annum Kiamotors offers 5 lakh per annum Dr Reddy's is one offers 6 lakh per annum This are the companies with their package The 60 percent is enough and eligible for placement My plans after completing my degree Learn software basic and autocad and Ai etc.. Get a simple job in the software field or else any field to grow

Friendly seniors and professors who helps us during our exams like what are the main topics that are to be studied and providing important questions.
Well educated professors who try to teach the subject and its topics in an easiest way which is understandable to any students.
Conducting hackathons and internships to level up our experience. Providing good placements at the end of the year.

Dislikes

Sometimes the classes will be cancelled frequently.
Sometimes the mess food in the hostel is not good
They should be conducting cultural events and fests in the university frequently

Course Curriculum Overview:

chosen the curriculum because its the main thing that is needed for our development. the curriculum consists of c,c++,java with oops,python, AI which helps us to get better placements. One thing that they need to improve is to provide students with projects (practical).

Likes

The bonding between seniors and juniors and with the other branch students.
The library is spacious and a good place to relax or to review anything.
The sports area is one of the best things that I personally like.

Dislikes

One thing I disliked about my college is that there is no facility to take our own laptops into library. Our whole work depends upon laptop.
The lab equipment and the air conditioner in the lab's are not in a good working condition.
There is no proper waiting room or proper restrooms for girls which is becoming a problem for everyone.

Placement Experience:

There is a medium range of placements in our campus as for now. From 6th semester the students are eligible for the campus placements. The companies that have visited our college are amazon, infosys,etc. The highest package is of 30 lakhs per annum and the average package is of 10 lakhs per annum. The package depends only upon our skills. On an average around 80% of the students have got placements. As of now I want to pursue my masters in abroad. But if I get a job in the campus placements I'll work for 3 to 4 years and I'll pursue my masters.

Review for Andhra University

Likes

I liked the opportunities there are in our college not only through academics and also through various clubs there are which help us to connect with other students
I like the total infrastructure of our college every building has a history of many years
And there is absolutely no ragging on our college and moreover our seniors are so helpful and friendly

Dislikes

The time table because it's very free and not very strict like in private colleges
Anyone can come into our college even without any permission unlike other colleges
Some equipment in our labs might not work at some times

Course Curriculum Overview:

There will be 2 mid examinations in one semister and one semister exam and lab internals and one lab external the faculty will try their best to finish the syllabus before the examinations so that we students will not face any trouble and the curriculum is pretty good in our course

THE REAL DEAL

Likes

College Atmosphere and surrounding environment which is almost plastic free , surrounded by mountains
Library is one of the big thing over there that u can find many books there which also includes rare collection, we will be accessed for e- learning and library contains 71 computers can be used students, reasearch scholars and staff
Classroom and lectures of department which is more attracted and the classrooms are air conditioned and we do have projectors and most of lectures are PhD scholars for top institutes

Dislikes

Hostels are no so good for the convenor quota students and buy hostels go for self supporting students is good and we maintained
Few course works are outdated for some branches as most of the colleges and universities are having this problem
The grounds need to be well maintained and they are trying to do it

Placement Experience:

My college do provide on campus placement opportunities and most of top companies in india will come for the recruitment and a few foreign based company and a few students will choose to extend their career by doing masters and the avg package is 7.5 lakhs

One of my friends graduated from Andhra University. According to him, it is very reputed among students as well as professionals. But like every other institution, it also has its fair share of positives and negatives. Let me share them with you which you can analyze later on.

Pros:

It is one of the oldest universities in the country, hence has a great alumni network.
The student intake in each department is 30-60, which benefits the student-teacher interaction.
Each department has its own dedicated library consisting of several books, magazines, journals, and other study materials.
The campus is huge, covering 600 acres.
They have the biggest sports ground. Students are also provided with a gym and basketball court.
The entire campus is wifi enabled.

Cons:

The placements are average. The number of companies visiting the college has gradually decreased.
The lab equipment is not well maintained or upgraded.
Andhra University follows the age-old curriculum with little to no changes.
Students are told to put more emphasis on theoretical learning than practical.
Exams are mostly based on theories rather than practicals.

Overall, it is an above-average institution. It may not be like the IITs or NITs but still works well. It is suggested that you opt for this only if you have missed the opportunity to study in the IITs or NITs.
