NIST University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placements are pretty good too. Like most of the colleges, a large no. of students get placed in IT companies with an average package of 2-3 lacs per annum. Companies like Infosys, Byju’s, Tech Mahindra, TCS have visited and according to resources more than 120 students got placed and at that time, placement was still going on. The highest package went upto 12 lacs per annum. Well, my plan after getting the degree is to qualify for CAT and pursue MBA from an IIM.

As per my knowledge concern You can sit in campus placement from the 8th semester. Last year Total of 94 companies visit our College .Inspite of Lockdown and in these Difficult times Our College gives the best placement. The Highest package of our College is 25 lakh of one of our seniors .Companies like conginent,etc . Came for campus placements. Majority of the students are getting their dream jobs Through campus placement. All You Have to do is focus on you basic skils and communication skills.The College will help you in achieving both. After Doing my BTech and Placed in any company. I will Complete My Online MBA And Get Everything that I promised to myself.

There are enough students getting placements. But according to my knowledge, the placements most students get are of less amount and less lpa per annum. Most probably 80% get placements but only 2-3% of students get a proper job offer. After degree, I am willing to pursue M.tech from a good University.

I choose NIST as one of my elder brother's friends has passed out from here and referred me to join NIST. and I am glad to be here. The professors are highly experienced and all are PhD. They make us learn every topic with ease. the student ratio is about 8:2 as there are fewer no. Of girls in the as compared to boys. there are 2-semester exams in a year and many suprise test and quizzes throughout the year

Palcement is good but not very good as 100% is in my college but from 1st semester you have to get good marks for better placement in this college highest package is 24 lac and average package is 5 lac no. of comapnies visited ia more than 100.

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement and there are companies like Infosys, Wipro, lnt, amazon, byju's, cisco and more than 200 companies are coming to colleges every year and from btech, more than 300 students out of 500 are getting a placement and the Highest package is 25 lakh per annum and average package is 6 lakh per annum.60% of students getting placement every year and my plan is for higher studies after getting a degree

Taking about placement it is the best college in eastern India and the highest package was 25 lakh per annum and many companies come to our college for placement. Name of companies like Wipro , TCS, etc and many companies visited this college and the percentage of students getting placement is 75 plus with no backs and have good in communication skills then the candidate may get placement in big companies

Students will be eligible for campus placements from 4th year. Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Vedanta, Tata Steel, Paytm, Tech Mahindra are a few of the renowned companies that hire students from NIST college. About 80% of students are placed every year. Students can also opt for off-campus companies like amazon. In the year 2019, a student from NIST college got placed on amazon and the package offered was 28 LKP. In 2019, the highest package offered on-campus was 18.5 LKP and off-campus was 28 LKP. The campus placement is very good here as compared to other colleges in Odisha. Many companies like byjus, cognizant, TCS, Wipro, infosis, and many others visit during placement. The average package provided is 5 lakh per annum and the highest package varies from 22 lakh to 28 lakh. The placement percentage is around 80%. My plan after getting a degree is to opt for the GATE exam and Mtech in IIT.

Students after 6th get involved in placement activities while the college start training students from the 5th sem itself. Infosys, Wipro, Adobe, infinite computer solution, DXC technology, MEIL etc. Visit campus frequently. I am placed in Wipro and started working as project engineer
